I'm also in Montreal, and got the 11" (confirmation email at 8:13am EST, April 30th). But it's still on "preparing to ship" with a 26-31 May window.

For now I have the exact same time window than you. 26-31 May. But seeing that it is shipped from Ontario, I am wondering if it will be delivered a little earlier (maybe 24 or 25?). I’m waiting my UPS delivery estimate to give me an idea

It won’t go straight there. Sometimes goes to Alaska and then to Kentucky.

The situation with the 11" is mind boggling....zero movement whatsoever for anyone (save 2 people that I've yet to see actual proof from).

They only have multiple flights to certain places. With Louisville being the central hub for the US, most items go through there because it’s actual much more economical and usually faster. If you sent something overnight or priority through UPS from Houston, TX to Dallas, Tx, it’s going through Louisville. Cheaper to throw it on a big plane than worry about so many trucks going to each city because they are kinda close. Also, means less planes in the air. Your package may end up going to Ontario but it would be via Louisville. Weird sounding but it’s logistics!

Woo woo! Mine’s on the move too - crazy to think it’ll make it to Toronto by Friday! I work in aviation and it amazes me how quickly things move from point A-B-C-D.

My Space Gray 12.9 256 WiFi is still processing and has had no movement since ordering on 4/30. Order confirmation received 9 minutes after ordering went live. Not happy. Wondering if ordering through EDU has any affect on the delay??

Now it all makes perfect sense why my fellow Canadians were at the “preparing to ship” stage all along. Obviously, Canadians won’t be able to track it from China, but once shipped from Toronto, it won’t take long.
