I had an email about my Apple TV shipping this morning, but no IPad. I ordered them in separate orders to get the IPad in the system as fast as possible. I figured I was out of luck for Friday and would probably land on the long end of 21st-27th.

Just now got in the IPad shipping though, still scheduled for the 21st!

Hope that info helps anyone else hoping for the 21st to calibrate their shipping guesses! The Apple TV confirmation email was 05:20 on 4/30 and I got the shipment email for it at 06:38 this morning. (64gb model, because why not for $20 more).

True that! Are you waiting for the 11”? A friend of mine got the “label created - Canada” status from UPS so it seems the 11’s are already in the country.

Seems it’s the 12.9”‘s that are being shipped from China 🛫 I’m in the East (Toronto)

My iPP 12.9” is still stuck in KY, just the import scan. But my Siri Remotes and Touch Combo are coming from Ontario. so they’ve been sitting there all along.

OMG, yes. I hate sticking that adapter on the end of my Pencil OG into my OG 2015 IPP as well! It always makes me think I'm going to break something off!

Ohhh really 😨 that’s what I’m worried about. Don’t want to sacrifice picture quality for that.

Supposedly the second version is better, but I have not tried it. It will protect against scratches, but not impact much, as well. I actually tried it ion top of the Zagg invisible shield, but I’m pretty sure it was the Paperlike caused the diffusion snd the adhesion looked good. The adhesion wasn’t great at the edges either; can tend to get lifted, then dirty underneath, then listed more. I’m hoping Apple will come up with a solution in the pencil point for this, rather than trying to do it on the screen.

mine too, it wouldn’t worry me so much if I am in the east coast but this suppose to make it to me by tomorrow and I am in BC. I just hope they move soon

Thanks, I’ve never done a trade in through Apple so I was unsure. I did go through the online questionnaire for the estimated value.

It’s tough though because there are a couple little dings and one area where the backlight looks a little wonky looking against light backgrounds. Figured I’d be better off having it looked at it person incase they undercut it as id probably just keep it rather than have them “recycle it free of charge” lol

Some Apple employees are more thorough than others, but they don’t try and make it difficult. But you are better off doing it in store than thru the mail.
