Since my "bumped" order still hadn't moved from "Processing" as of this morning, I did the sensible thing and secured one for in-store pickup. As soon as I got confirmation from my local Apple Store, I cancelled my original 4/30 order. Here's hoping my original order gets shipped very soon to someone who is further down the pre-order list but too far away from an Apple Store to take advantage of in-store pickup!Like several others on this thread, I placed my order as soon as the pre-orders went live on April 30 and originally had a delivery estimate of May 21-28. (My confirmation email for my order is time-stamped 9 minutes after the pre-orders became available).
A few days ago I checked my order status to find, much to my chagrin, I had been "bumped" to a delivery estimate of June 2-9.
While it is good to know I am not alone, it is a little disheartening to now hear others that were originally given delivery time frames beyond May 21-28 are now being notified that their iPads have shipped while mine remains in a "processing" status.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy for everyone on the thread getting their iPads earlier than expected...would just be nice if I was getting mine in the time frame originally promised.

All of my apple stuff got delivered today at noon (outside Vancouver like an hourish). Crazy!! So excited thought id have to wait until June 3rd or later.
But also kind of sad as I'm cleaning my house to be able to sell, have to somehow ignore it for the next few days haha

UPS "tried" to deliver mine ?. They didn't ring (my building's intercom rings on my phone, which doesn't have missed calls), they also didn't leave a notice.
The iPad is now on the way to a nearby access point for pick up. Hope they let me pick it up without the notice.

I got the opposite. Ups just left mine on my porch, no knock, ringing doorbell or anything. And my ring doorbell didn’t go off, if I would not have been refreshing ups like crazy I would of missed it and it might of been sitting there. Been a lot of porch pirates in my neighborhood lately so I don’t want anything sitting on my porch too long ecspecially a $1200 item. Good luck to you! Hope you get your iPad picked up soon!
It was funny to go to the Apple store today and see so many things in stock while I wait for my delivery lol. Also, seeing the 12.9 in person is so much better than seeing it in videos/pictures. It's like a completely different device in my opinion. The white super expensive keyboard also looks and feels amazing in person. I was able to hold restraint and not buy anything other than the pencil lol. Even the new iMac looks really nice in person and is probably light years ahead of my late 2012 one.

Its happily up and running with Smart Keyboard (Magic keyboard was a bit much for me)

you ain't kidding, I am still waiting, the truck has been in my area since about 1 PM eastern time and here it is 530PM I got beer and patience. LOL I've gone over a month now without a iPad as I traded my old one in at apple before new one announced. I can wait a couple more hours.
Logitec keyboard finally shipped, but the tracking isn’t available on ups site. Apple claims actual delivery of tomorrow (Sat) now, but we’ll see. Supposedly express shipping (the default snd no cost when ordered), but I rarely get a UPS package on a weekend.
It wouldn’t have been near as bad. But, 2-3 hours ago I got a pop up notification from UPS stating my package from AI should be here in an hour. I have been doing tasks around the house to keep myself busy and not thinking about it…lol.
I honestly think mine went on the wrong truck this morning. I have been watching the truck move on the map from the message UPS sent me, and it is not in the usual area my delivery guy usually drives. Expected delivery went from 11:15-1:15 to, now, before 7pm. My hopes are not high.
My UPS driver dropped mine at 1:40 p.m. which is SUPER early for my driver. I got the text alert, flew home (luckily I live 3 miles away from work) and picked up my baby. I had instructed for the driver to leave it at the front door (left my gate unlocked so he wouldn't fling it over the fence) aaaaaaaaaaaaand he FLUNG it. Front gate is NOT the FRONT DOOR but whatevs. It's HERE. EARLY. I didn't lock in an early pick up window time on the white magic keyboard so I get to wait until 4:30 p.m. to go grab that bad boy.

My driver's late here in Dallas. Usually comes near 1:00. It's now 5:00 and the delivery map shows a ton of stops before me. My luck.
