I was getting a little bit worried today! Luckily, I got my tracking information a few hours ago!! Tracking populated about two hours ago. I'm in Eastern Washington State and it's coming from Ontario, CA. 64GB Starlight WiFi. I'm really interested in seeing the starlight color in person... I really like the purple from the videos that I've watched.

It happens all the time... with each major product release... Apple gives you a target delivery date... shipping status info is delayed until a few days before the target delivery date... people freak out because they haven't heard anything or seen any update... then BAM, the shipping updates get sent out, tracking numbers are provided and everyone wakes up on "delivery day" and receives their cherished prize.

It's a roller coaster ride of emotions that is nothing more than wasted energy. Apple said Friday, and Friday it is. No surprises and nothing here to see.

My mini just landed in Dallas about 30 minutes ago. I'd be happy to save UPS a trip to Oklahoma if they'd let me drive down and pick it up.?

Sorry for being excited for a product? I feel that hovering over tracking information (although it may seem like wasted energy) is very common for us who are excited for our shiny new products. As you said, we all know that Apple, historically, has almost never missed a promised delivery date. But it's fun and exciting for us.

Sure... knock yourself out with the excitement. That is not the issue - never has been ... it's the barrage of posts questioning whether or not the prize is actually coming on time. My point is simply this: it ALWAYS does.

I only recall one time since 2010 when phones were delayed in the US... don't recall the specifics, but something happened with the shipments coming out of China... and instead of Friday delivery, UPS delivered them on Saturday... seems like about 2017 or 2018... but otherwise, it ALWAYS comes on time.

Steve Jobs hand picked Cook to succeed him as CEO because Cook sorted out Apple supply chain management.
Given the global disruption in supply chains (near total collapse), it's interesting to see if Apple can continue to pull off logistics. I already have a Hero 10 I ordered the day they were announced - just another data interesting data point.
The world is in a pickle, it will get way worse before it gets better.

My guess is everything was boxed / labeled / palletized in China, and just landed at various airports in the USA. As pallets were loaded onto UPS trucks we began receiving "shipped" notices. UPS has your unit now, so they're probably the best source of info.
I find it hilarious that US orders are coming from an area called Ontario. The Canadian orders also seem to be shipping from the Ontario in Canada.
Even funnier: California has a larger population than Canada. Yet a lot of idiots still believe the entire USA can get drugs cheaper from Canada.

That’s what it says for my case/cover. It’s the only thing of the 4 items scheduled for tomorrow that hasn’t been “picked up”.

I ordered a Starlight, 64GB, WiFi Mini and a dark cherry case immediately after the event. It said delivery would be the 24th in Arkansas. It’s been sitting at preparing to ship since Monday. The Apple Store app still
Says arriving tomorrow but it’s not looking good. Unfortunately I had it shipped to my office so if it doesn’t arrive tomorrow I won’t get it til Monday

So I have tracking now, but it still says “Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet.” ?
Apple app has tomorrow as delivery date but UPS just says “label created” and “check back tomorrow for delivery date” ??‍♂️ It does list UPS Next Day Air Saver so I’m curious if it shows tomorrow

Sometimes UPS will screw up on scanning the package and suddenly it’ll update when it’s out for delivery. I’ve even had it not update until after it’s delivered. Fingers still crossed.
Yeah almost as if it’s moving so quickly they don’t have time to scan it lol
