It's been a week or so after getting the mini 6, and I've not encountered any issues with scrolling.
I read PDFs in Goodreader a lot for work & they are working well as are the various book apps -- Kindle, Overdrive, Bluefire & Apple. Web surfing is fine, too.

Just checking back in, I went to the Apple Store yesterday to collect my MacBook Pro, checked out the Starlight iPad mini. Wish I had gambled on it instead of playing safe with Space Grey! Starlight just looks silver, now I’m stuck with a Graphite phone, Silver watch, Space Grey iPad and Silver MacBook!
Been refreshing Best Buy's website daily for a cellular 64gb mini that's been sold out. it finally worked out yesterday and managed to snipe a purple one. Clearly wasn't a full restock but someone let their store pickup lapse or something along those lines -- I was waiting for it to officially ship to believe it and it has, delivering tomorrow. Just as a heads up to keep refreshing retail sites if you're looking!
I am excited I finally got notfication this morning, they charged my Apple card for my smartfolio, it will be delivered tomorrow
I ordered mine the week of the announcement, and at long last, my 64GB Space Gray is set for delivery today.
EDIT: I got it and set it up. It's a beautiful iPad, and I don't see the infamous jelly scrolling issue.

Ordered my Space Grey Mini6 64gb w/ matching Apple Smart-folio on October 27. They sent note updating delivery and promise within 72 hrs now. If it is half as awesome as it seems in media, then I'll be thrilled!! I luv my 11" iPad Pro, but face it, it is a bit of a drag to bring to classroom and back. I think Mini6 is gonna kick-azz and the Ss are gonna freak-out w/ envy. Right now in class the Status Symbol is the 11" Pro w/ Pencil. Maybe 20% have one displayed proudly. This is China, so, two things,,, not everyone is used to having Disposable Income,, and Status Symbols are a lotttt more important here than other places.
I am in Miami, Florida trying to buy an iPad Mini 64GB but looks like there is no stock on any Apple Store in 100 miles lol.

I live in China. Just received iPad Mini6 64gb Space Gray yesterday. 28 days for premium delivery service, did not cost extra, but it is considered the premium service here. Let me guarantee all of you fence-sitters, this device is worth waiting 100 days for, it is such a strong combination of Beauty & Brains! I have 2021 iPad Pro, and MacBook Air M1, and iPhone 11 Pro Max,,,,,, and as far as I can tell this thing is faster than any of them. You touch a command, and it's done, like nearly before u lift your finger! *I ordered directly from Apple.com.cn

Was up in Glasgow over the weekend, and popped in to the Apple Store on Buchanan Street to have a look at the min Mini. Came out with a 64 cellular in Starlight, which will replace my (amazing, but wrist aching) 11 Pro M1.

Got lucky yesterday and bought the only 256GB they had in store. I wanted Space Gray but Starlight will do.
I finally bought mine! 256GB Purple. Order on a local online store, I hope it doesn't take long to arrive!
EDIT: Already shipped! ? I'll receive it next Thursday (due to bank holidays here in Spain). Ordered a Dark Cherry Smart Folio at a local store, it might arrive by the same day.

I placed the order on Apple's website around November 2.
Last Monday(11/29) The status changed to preparing to ship... but as of today(12/6), it still has not shipped.
I contacted Apple and all they said was that I would get a tracking number as soon as it was actually shipped.
Does it usually take this long for the status to go from preparing to ship to "shipped"?

Yes, unfortunately, it has been my experience with past orders that "preparing to ship" is a several day process.
well... at least I hope this means something will be shipped to me eventually.. because the "Cancel"(order) button always went away when the status went to "preparing to ship"
(edit 1: at 11:19AM PST 12/6, Apple deducted the order amount from my Apple account balance.... so I assume shipping is getting closer?)
(edit 2: 7:00AM PST, 12/7, still not shipped <sigh> )

I'm sooo late to the party, but just ordered the purple Mini with 256gb of storage and cellular, along with the orange folio. Was gonna get the Apple Pencil at the same time too, but since this iPad is most likely gonna come in mid January , I made the decision to just get one second hand from eBay or somewhere at a cheaper price.
But man, I really hope that it doesn't take until mid January for my iPad to show up though...

order status went from "Preparing to ship" to "Shipped" yesterday... around 3:00PM PST 12/8.
However, as of today(12/9), the UPS tracking number is still coming up blank on UPS website.
not sure if it's because UPS has not taken possession of the package....
