I was also in this timeframe. Have you seen any changes to yours? Mine still says processing.
Mine was the 19th - 26th, there was no change last week, and I ordered another one for store pickup when one became available. I will bet that yours will change to preparing to ship over the weekend.
I still am constantly checking Amazon, BB, Target, etc but at this rate even when those show in stock, they're still estimated for the timeframe I was slotted from Apple directly. Also, we recently moved from a decent size city to a small one in the middle of nowhere essentially so I no longer have an Apple store down the road. The closest one is 6 hours away now. It would appear that I will just need to continue waiting it out, but hopefully, something changes by later today or by Monday. My luck I'll fall on the latter end of that est. window!
Amazing how hot this item is. I already have one since day 1 thankfully. Sometimes I check local stock and it’s always sold out. I’m guessing it will be this way for a while especially right into Christmas given it’s popularity and chip shortages. I hope this is a sign for Apple to keep the mini updated more often than it did before.
Unfortunately no movement still the same. Ironically I had ordered the Apple Watch with a delivery date of November 2nd through the 8th then saw it at Best Buy where what I had a 10% off discount plus other credit and they stated it would ship by October 25th so I canceled that with Apple and ordered from Best Buy. This morning got confirmation that my SS gold had just shipped(well ahead of Oct 25th). Unfortunately I could not do any trade in but with what I saved I did not need the trade in and giving my trade watch to a good friend. I am not overly happy with Apple right now. The roll out of these new items were not done very well compared to past years. At this point I am not sure when we will get our Mini iPad.
there’s a huge chip shortage right now. With how popular apple products are, it’s expected they would have supply issues. Like you said, previous years their launches have been quite successful. That was before chip supply was an issue.
If this does not change to preparing to ship by Tuesday I seriously doubt we will be getting them in the time frame promised and they were be forced to change these dates. I was in an Apple store last night to look at the Apple watch 7 (mine will be arriving later this week) and I asked about the delayed Mini's, of course they could not answer or give a speculation. But by the expression of one of the guys we spoke with seemed hesitant about the dates that were showing for our delivery. I then overheard another Apple Rep tell someone looking at them they currently had no estimate for a date for them to arrive which I thought was strange since the web site states Nov 16-23rd. They also did not have any of the portfolio covers for any iPad Mini's to sell.
Ordered a pink iPad mini Wi‑Fi 256GB on September 22. Shipped on October 16 & is scheduled to arrive on October 18 via UPS. Ordered a smart folio at the same time & that arrived on September 30.
I think the color makes a big difference, the pink seems to be the color that has had more availability, the Lavender tends to be the one that is in higher demand and back ordered. I had ordered my Mini on September 19th.
Mine moved to Preparing to Ship early this morning (Oct 18-25 Timeline). Hope you had the same luck too!
Mine still says processing too. However, the verbiage on it did change this morning. Now it still says "Preparing your order" but is still within the processing stage. It looks the same on mobile when I view it. It's only on the desktop that I can see the verbiage change on it.
It would appear that it typically arrives roughly 2 days after shipping, so we still may very well fall within our est. timeframe of receiving it. Of course, with every passing day (and hour honestly lol), I too feel this.
Just very impatient and ready to get my hands on it!
Got my Mini a few hours ago, wont' get to play with it till this evening after work but it is transferring over now all of my stuff from the cloud.
Yes it shipped out yesterday from a company I had never heard of and came from Fontana California
Apple indicates it has shipped and to be delivered tomorrow. However, UPS still stuck as "Label Created" so it likely hasn't been handed over to them yet.

Just got a message from Apple notifying me that my 64GB Space Gray (with an Oct 18–25 delivery) has now been pushed to Nov 2–9.
