I'm thinking that I like this style folio case more than say the Smart Case like folios, or folios similar to the iPad 1 design. If anyone has spotted a similarly designed case on Amazon please point it out to me, specially the ones that snap in and have the back completely covered.

Thanks for the post. I have the Ridge case on my iPad 3. I love it. Has even helped protect my iPad from accidental leaks in my bag. I ordered the blue for my new mini. Glad to get it at discounted price. Big ups!!! Thanks...

Also ordered the Khomo based on amazon reviews. It's crap. Might work for a bit but the quality seems poor. You get what you pay for in this "case"... That's why I'm happy about the devicewear. Khomo and smart/dum cover are going back.

One question. The sleep/wake function on my iPad 3 Ridge isn't without fault. Clicks open and closed randomly. Do you have this issue with the mini Ridge as well? Not a deal breaker for me but I'm curious...

I have not had this issue. Also, if you have the Metagamers review (link below), he demonstrates that the cover does not move around much therefore does not inadvertently trigger the sleep/wake that some other cases do.

I ordered the Yoobao executive case earlier this week and I should be getting it today. Will try to post pics or possibly a video later today.
 
im looking for a thin clear back case that works with a smart cover.....anyone know any that are available to ship now? joy factory is out of stock.

I got a Roocase Dual Station Folio case in the mail today....I had the one that did not support the sleep/wake function (it was only a temporary case until I got my regular one). I got my regular one a few days ago...then got the corrected roocase in the mail.

I have no use for it..

Wow! without that issue, it will definitely be my favorite case. very excited to grab this. cannot be beat for <$20.

The case I'm really waiting for, is the Devicewear Union, in the clear frost 'colour'.
I had it for the iPad 3rd generation, and it was perfect.
 
I received my Yoobao Executive case, but I was sent the wrong color. I already sent Kev an email and I am certain he will take care of it. I have not unsealed it, but from what I can tell it's a very nice case, can't wait to try it out.

If I see one more case maker advertise their case as "vegan leather" I'm going to puke! What a dumb ass term! It's either leather or it's vinyl, deal with it!
 
Not sure this qualifies as a "case", but my Waterfield Designs Travel Express arrived today.

So far it seems like just what I was looking for.

I am able to fit my Mini w/Smartcover, sync cord and plug, pens, notepad, Surefire flashlight and probably my iPhone 4S if I wanted.

Any suggestions on a back hard shell that works with the Smart Cover or protective skins to keep from scratches in the back. I am wanting as little bulk as possible. iPad should be arriving tomorrow. :).
 
Does anyone know any good case for the iPad Mini? It to have protection on the back and be like the smart cover on the front. Then I also want it to be any protection on the inside of it to protect the back on the iPad Mini. I like apples smart case but it is unfortunately not for ipad mini!
