Test like this are why you never buy an open box or other returned item. Too many of these YouTubers buy something, test it, and return it.
Such silly reply. You think that thread is all filled with bend cases?
Go count how many ppl WITH actual bending issue. You be surprise. Most of the replies are from people like you who are too paranoid and people like me who have no issue.
We've resorted to insults and name-calling?This place has more ferocious Apple defenders than I would expect - or maybe it's just that Apple fanboys tend to be fanatical ...and not what my suspicious mind sometimes thinks. I mean I would expect a rational person to say something like, "Yes, xx, what you say does make sense, but i prefer my tablets to be as thin and frail as they can be! They're ever so much cuter that way."

How brittle can carbon fiber be, they make tennis rackets out of it? They make airplanes out of it. They make a lot of laptops out of it too. But the easiest and best thing is just to do what I said next, make it a little thicker. What are they, stupid?
They even make sports car wheels out of it. Talk about weight and stress!
"Ferocious Apple defenders" sounds worse."silly, paranoid, fear mongering"

And for only $15k as an option on your Porsche Turbo S!

Yep - it’s an option for any car. And they come stock on the Mustang GT350.
The point is that carbon fiber isn’t brittle or weak, by any stretch of the imagination. And would be a great lightweight but strong case for the iPad.
Not to nitpick but carbon fiber wheels only come on the GT350RYep - it’s an option for any car. And they come stock on the Mustang GT350.

Good news is that you don't have to buy one if you don't want to. These kind of tests would never put me off of buying an iPad.
I know, right? The older I've gotten the the more I realize how stupid these tests are. When am I ever even going to rest something on top of it or let a piece of hair stay on the screen, much less exert anything more than ultra-light force upon it...and back to the real world where people don't try and destroy their expensive tech.
So much more enlightenment in the forums lately. It's great.Uh. The dude is putting a lot of force. No surprise it will bend/flex. He’s just trying to go viral and get those YouTube views and subs. Who cares.
It's amazing how many "Mac Fanboys" there are that don't get upset at quality issues. You'd think if you were to support a company it would be in good faith rather than telling people "If you don't like it, don't buy it".Good news is that you don't have to buy one if you don't want to. These test also are ridiculous though, if you try to break something you will succeed.
I don't mean to be "that guy" but shouldn't this be combined with the sticky thread at the top? I mean we don't really need another one of these.
