iPad Pro iPad Pro Shipping Delays

I just ordered through the student store for my Masters program the 12.9 iPad Pro, Upgraded to AirPods Pro (for $80...not bad), and the Apple Pencil yesterday 7/13. I had a 7/15 ETA for the AirPods. A July 28-August 4 ETA for the Apple Pencil. And the iPad has an August 12-18 ETA.

BTW I live in LA County not that far from one of the manufacturing plants in San Bernardino County in CA.

Tomorrow 7/15 the Apple Pencil and AirPods are supposed to arrive, so hopefully the iPad dates have also been inflated.

i ordered my iPad Pro 11" through the back to school promo and upgraded to AirPods Pro on July 8. i took advantage of the free engraving on both. AirPods est delivery was July 21 but actually coming tomorrow July 16 and iPad est delivery is Aug 7 - Aug 14. Both are coming from China so it gives a little insight on the situation there. They are able to pump out the AirPods quickly and demand isnt too high for those as they have been out for a while. The iPad has a high demand since it just launched a little more than 3 months ago and i suspect this model takes a longer time to build and/or less people in the factory making them creating a bottleneck and these long wait times

Weird thing is, Everything to do with the iPad Pro that has extended shipping dates. The Magic Keyboard, the Apple Pencil, and the iPad itself. I can get a $50,000 Mac Pro on my doorstep in about 4 days, while the iPad is taking over a month. I just find that funny :D

It all depends on where stock items are located, not to mention custom delays with iPad Pros, as they have been a high seller.

I bought an Ipad Pro 11'' 2020 wifi only, on 24th July and the expected delivery is 25th August to 7th September!!!! It is still processing on the status of my order and I am pretty upset as all the retail shops around are out of stock nation wide so I had to order from apple straight and can say I am not impressed with the wait time. Now have to wait a bloody long time to finally get it - at that rate i would have forgotten i purchased it in the first place lol
