Whoa! I finally got some sort of movement with my iPP order! It has moved to “preparing to ship”. That only took a mere 26 days.
We ara definetely here but because of the timezone difference we come and go in different times😂. But that doesn’t say you are wrong I can’t get my hands off from iPad haha! But will be here more to support anyone who hasn’t got their iPads.😂🙏🏼

I HAD ordered an iPad 7th generation but it was taking forever to bill and ship and when I saw the 8th generation I just canceled that order and got the 8th Generation at the same price and it came very quick all the way from China

Nope. It’s designed to do that. Don’t ever let your Pencil’s battery Run Down to 0%, Apple says it causes “Permanent Damage”.
Hopefully I get mine tomorrow then, lol. Then I can apply it after Work
Interesting. This is another explanation for the moving monthly window (shipping waiting time) since early August. We will see.

Oh. The shipping time has been there since Before June I think. I wouldn’t believe the leakers, Apple wouldn’t do something like that. RIP because if it is true, My new iPad will be obsolete within 2 months.
Y’all... I’m having the most absolute worst luck!!! My IPP was scheduled for delivery today and for some reason USPS hates me! GA sent it to TN then for some reason (I’m in KY) they sent it to PA, then PA sent it BACK to GA which is 5 hours from me. So it’s obviously not coming today. I’m so tempted to drive to the distribution center and demand my package. 😭 Out of all the stuff I order, this is the package they mess up on. 😤
How come yours is shipping by USPS? Apple doesn’t ship their products from their Website by USPS. Either FedEx or UPS.
Mine Came from China by UPS.
It’s my order from Best Buy. My Apple order is still processing. 😩

Hm, that rather points to a production issue. Somewhat strange but who knows. I think that your iPad is "safe" for now.
I don’t have the pencil YET, lol. Debating whether or not I would really use it enough to justify the cost. I had the 1st generation and rarely used it. I was always worried about breaking it off when it was charging...then there was the cap. I worried about losing it all the time. I probably won’t be able to resist the temptation and end up buying it anyway, lol. It’ll make my setup complete. 😁
OMG! At that rate, you’ll have your order from Apple first before you receive that one! That seems totally unacceptable, and I can understand your frustration and aggravation. ☹️
I bought one for my new 12.9 IPP. I don’t know how much that I will use it, but it seems useful. Hopefully, the new IPP will be here tomorrow or Monday. I’m waiting for UPS to update the delivery date once they pick it up today.
All those problems with the 1st Gen Pencil are fixed with the 2nd Gen. As a Student, the Pencil is pretty useful for me.
I’ve considered the Logitech Crayon since I’m hardly an artist, lol. But then I read that the replacement tips are about half the cost of the Crayon itself! They sell the pencil cheap, then get you with “maintenance” costs, lol. Also, it’s shaped too much like a carpenter’s pencil.
