I have some pictures that are all white, black, red, green, and blue that I look at 100% brightness to check for stuck/dead pixels, but haven’t done that yet. Honestly, I stopped doing that as pixel density got high enough that stuck or dead pixels are not noticeable at viewing distance.

I ordered the same day from Apple and mines still processing but DD was 10/02-10/04. You should probably make a call to Apple. If not today definitely tomorrow.

We should boycott Best Buy and sue them! ;)

We need someone to be the lawyer and help start the lawsuit. Any volunteers? This thread shall be cemented into iPad history!

It was the educational discount and the free airpods and there was a slight discount to applecare+
I gave the airpods to my friend, so actually that prevented me from cancelling my apple.com order in lieu of a in store pickup at apple location (which has been in stock near me for like 3 weeks!)

I hear you, lol. I should have had you do mine. 🤪 I’m getting my pencil today, but I’m waiting on the skin for it from dBrand. I ordered one from Slickwraps, too, but then afterwards I read that they are notorious for not shipping what you pay for. 🤬

I have to be careful in my Apartment as sine Covid-19 has hit office hours are shorter and if UPS shows a package as delivered I may need to wait until maintenance comes and delivers the package. UPS leaves it in the office. Fed Ex will deliver to the door

That’s true that USPS dropped the ball on not getting my delivery to me yesterday, but I would have had my iPad by now if they would have shipped it express like I paid for, and they were the ones who only put $100 insurance on it.

I'm a fan of Best Buy, but I just go to a nearish store, and haven't ordered from them. Still, it's awful when it's your order and you've waited so long. Better days are coming!

In my case, I took advantage of the educational discount, I get 3% back on my purchase by using my Apple card at Apple, and I got free AirPods. Also, I ordered the 11", 256gb, WiFi+Cellular, which Amazon won't have until after when Apple indicated they would ship. Amazon seems to be backed up a little also on the 11". I think there are reasons to order from Amazon or Apple, depends on your situation.

I am debating between the 12.9 and 11 but since I will taking notes I am gonna go for the 12.9
