I don't understand the under-insuring bit, but I have to say where I live in New England, I haven't experienced a single USPS issue and I get pretty regular deliveries from Amazon via USPS. I don't know if it relates to a lower population density and if the problems are in large metro areas, but I wanted to put in a good word for the USPS. Well, that is ... except for the tracking updates. 😖

That's just terrible. I'm so sorry for the trouble you're going through. Good thing you kept your Apple order I'm assuming so hopefully you'll get that soon hassle-free if your Best Buy package is indeed missing.

I agree, I buy a lot of coach purses, and when I resell them I only ship FedEx and UPS. One time I shipped a $600 purse through USPS and it got lost, luckily had insurance. And I’ve had a package come That was supposed to be delivered and never came. But the buyer ended up shipping me another one. USPS has been terrible here.

Yeah my order date with Apple was 9/1 and still processing. But hopefully that’ll change soon. It’ll be my luck all 3 iPads come at the same time. 😂

I couldn’t believe it was USPS when I got the notification. That’s exactly why I paid the extra $23 for shipping thinking they’ll definitely use FedEx or UPS. 🤦🏼‍♀️

So I contacted BB and told them this is ridiculous. If they would have shipped it express like I paid for it would have been here by now. Not to mention they only put $100 insurance on it!! Well BB said they are reshipping the item but it could take until the 16th as it’s not in stock. So after I talked to him I looked online and they are in stock. So I messaged them again and they said it won’t take until the 16th.

So basically I’m in freaking limbo and have NO idea when or if my iPad will come.

I think Best Buy needs to do more for you in this situation. You paid for express shipping, they didn't do it, and through their mistake your delivery has been delayed and possibly lost. At the very least, they need to rush you a replacement and I'd argue give you a discount as a goodwill gesture.

Have you tried escalating this to a manager?

I placed my order on September 17, iPad Pro with Pencil 2 and the free AirPods. The AirPods arrived on the 23, and the next day I got the pencil which was like a week earlier than Apple said. I even got the pencil engraved so that it would take longer and arrive closer to the iPad. No such luck... ;)

Looking forward to my mid to late October iPad arrival.

I asked them if they could overnight me a new one, that I’d even pay for it! And they just went around the question and said don’t worry, it’ll ship soon. After I go to my post office I’ll probably contact them again because this is just ridiculous.

Yes I think you should call them or something. But let’s hope it’ll arrive surprisingly fast.This madness is so annoying so... We will throw a party when you get your iPad.😬🙏

No worries. Even if we could finish this thread we would find another thing to wait all together.😂 Or we can pretend we are waiting for something just to hangout here 😂. So basically we are iPad Pro waiting family from now on we stick together 👀😬

I’m sure we’ll all purchase and talk about shipping of whatever new product Apple has out then in a new thread just for the sake of staying together. 😜

my bank account says exactly the opposite but whatever 😂 once you wait for something you cannot go back so even if I don’t buy anything I will wait with you😂🤓
