If you're impatient enough, I'd order another for in-store pickup ASAP and return the original one once it arrives in the mail. 😅
You get a similar email for your Apple order, but at least Apple doesn't send it until after it's delivered. 😅
Still processing, shipping to arizona. Gives me hope ill have it early next week! Did you get a delivery date from the shipper?
What screen protector is everyone using with theirs?
I haven't gotten one yet, so probably not. On my order screen it says an email will be sent with the tracking info once it's shipped.
I think where my delivery date is still showing today Best Buy thought I got it. ☹️

Yeah, I guess Best Buy's system isn't able to check the tracking like Apple's, so they just go by the expected delivery date. I got the email from Apple 25 minutes after my iPad was delivered, a day before Apple predicted I would get it lol.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it like over $100 for a screen replacement with Apple Care? (I know, they replace the whole unit). A screen protector is much less expensive. 😳

Paperlike is supposed to be pretty bad and not worth the money sadly!

Well it was only $20 so if it don’t work out I’ll just order the the tempered glass.
That’s if my iPad EVER comes! At 8PM my delivery date of today went away and now it’s not even showing a DD. 😑
Yeah, had a Paperlike on my old iPP. Started peeling within 1 week. Distorted the display, it wasn’t very “Premium”. Mind you, this is the $40 one from Paperlike’s Website.
It wasn’t my Application, I didn’t apply it. When I got the Screen Replaced on that iPP, I also asked them to install the Paperlike Screen Protector I bought. They installed the brand new Screen Protector on Brand New Display Glass.
If you would get a screen protector, I reccomend the Zagg ones. Used it on my Old iPP after the Paperlike failed. Worked until very recently in Late July when my entire iPad Pro died of old age. It’s still on, no air bubbles or peeling. I even applied it!
On my new iPad Pro I got used to writing with the Apple Pencil on the Display glass, lol
It's a shame that there doesnt seem to be a definite great screen protector
I am primarily going to be using my iPad for notes and I don't like the feel of writing on glass, I tried it in the Apple Store which is why I keep asking for a good paper-like screen protector to buy (I am in the UK).
The Paper-like screen protector seems to have a lot of issues which is why I am not buying it.

Not all the time, but I plan to keep this iPad for many years hopefully and want to be able to use it in as many ways as possible, so I decided to get the Pencil anyways. If I find I'll be using it more in the future, I'll either replace my glass screen protector with a matte one or just install one over it.
