iPad Pro iPad Pro - Shipping Thread

Just got an email that my iPad Pro has shipped. Not showing up yet on UPS but Apple says it’s expected on Saturday 9/26, so it must be shipping from somewhere in the US. Ordered on Aug 31st. Expected Oct 1-9. I think they are finally catching up. I did see that many Apple stores here in the LA area will have iPad Pro’s available for in store pickup tomorrow. I’ve been looking and it’s the first time I’ve seen that in weeks. So keep hope everyone!

I am still trying to figure out when my iPP will be delivered. Apple moved it to “shipped“ two days ago and UPS shows that a label was created on the 23rd for a 2nd Day Air shipment out of Lebanon, TN. UPS has no scans after that (it should have been picked up at least by the 24th). UPS shows no ETA under general tracking, but if I sign into MyUPS, it shows delivery scheduled for the 25th. Apple says that I will get it on the 28th. I was sure hoping to get by today (Friday) so I would have all weekend to fiddle with it. Who knows when it will actually show up.

Yeah, had a Paperlike on my old iPP. Started peeling within 1 week. Distorted the display, it wasn’t very “Premium”. Mind you, this is the $40 one from Paperlike’s Website.

It wasn’t my Application, I didn’t apply it. When I got the Screen Replaced on that iPP, I also asked them to install the Paperlike Screen Protector I bought. They installed the brand new Screen Protector on Brand New Display Glass.

If you would get a screen protector, I reccomend the Zagg ones. Used it on my Old iPP after the Paperlike failed. Worked until very recently in Late July when my entire iPad Pro died of old age. It’s still on, no air bubbles or peeling. I even applied it!

On my new iPad Pro I got used to writing with the Apple Pencil on the Display glass, lol

I know it‘s scary to use screen without a protector but I think I can’t do this to beautiful screen. It feels like betrayal.😂 Matte / paperlike protectors decreases the screen quality at least it does for me. This is the first time I’m using an Apple product without screen protector but i think it’s worth it. Besides that what do you think about pencil tip wear out? Does that happen with matte protectors?

That is not good. Where has this thing traveled since it shipped? I think that you said that you live in KY and that it had been in TN at some point. There is no reason for it to be in ATL. From what city did it ship?

Oh dear. This might be our First Casualty. Call up USPS and ask them what’s going on.

Oh no... it might be a good time to call them. How on earth that could happen? Hopefully we will finish this thread without casualties.

It originally shipped from GA, then to TN, my packages always come here after TN (yes I’m in KY) But for some reason TN sent it to PA then they sent it BACK to GA! 😭

I emailed them, and called them. They said on the phone that someone would contact me in a “few” days. I’m like... it’s only a $1,250 package. 🙄 Then email said they are looking into it. 😭
So I contacted BB and told them this is ridiculous. If they would have shipped it express like I paid for it would have been here by now. Not to mention they only put $100 insurance on it!! Well BB said they are reshipping the item but it could take until the 16th as it’s not in stock. So after I talked to him I looked online and they are in stock. So I messaged them again and they said it won’t take until the 16th.

So basically I’m in freaking limbo and have NO idea when or if my iPad will come.

this is insane. I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you get your iPad ASAP and start enjoying it to forget these madness. we are with you as you know don’t worry :(

Thank you. 😭 Y’all are great. This thread has helped so much with all this insanity going on.

I’m just going to keep hoping my original shipment comes. Or that BB makes it right and ships another in a timely manner.

I was reading online trying to find the number for the GA distribution center and... 😞 I read GA is known for loosing and stealing packages or letting them sit there for days. ☹️

I’m holding out hope for you that it’s in your area for delivery, but just hasn’t updated in their system. It’s happened to me several times before. Didn’t update until I got the “delivered” notification.
