It's one of those funny generational things I guess. I've been to people's houses that have done it too, although my grandparents did not. And why just the sofa and not, say, the bed or chairs? Nothing like that comfy crunchy feeling ...
Oh, my grandparents also did the Dining Table and the Chairs.
I know right? Sofas or totally salon set/sitting group is their fav. They put 1000 things to cover them but the others... they are okay to use😂.
People are going to read this thread after such a long day and will have no idea why we are talking about sofas in our grandparent’s house 😂😂
Well, at one point when I was unboxing my iPad everyone thought I attacked my UPS driver because my iPad wasn’t on the truck. It was on the truck and I was unboxing it and taking pictures. This wasn’t the strangest thing that has happened on this thread.

Lol I was thinking the same thing only I’m part of the problem. I mostly only lurk, laugh, and get sad or happy for y’all when necessary lol. I wonder how many others there are like me who watch buy don’t really interact. We gotta do better
There’s probably a lot of people just reading here, and not posting anything. I was “Just Reading” for 2 Days, from July 6 (When I ordered) to July 8 when I posted here first.
Y’all have definitely kept it interesting. It was rough watching all the “delivered” reports this week. I was happy for all of y’all , but also found myself checking Twice as often to see if my status has changed from processing

I just turned my desk around so that when I typed on my Magic Keyboard, the Keys would be louder. This took me about an hour. Do I regret it? No. Is it an hour of my Life I’ll never get back? Probably.
Yup, I miss the glory days of everyone waiting for their iPads to ship/deliver over the summer and losing their minds here. 😆

at this point we even talked about our grandparent’s houses. This thead is more than waiting list now. While we waiting we got used to it so much it’s like a therapy coming here and talk about random stuff. 😂

I love Brooklyn Nine Nine, so funny. With the iPad Pro’s, by the time you guys get yours the new ones will be announced and then there will be a new set of people waiting for their iPads 😂
B99 is also one of my favs. 😂. It now seems that there’s noone waits for their new iPad but one day... one day this thread will reach it’s glorious days again! 😂
Still waiting on my iPad! Should be here before Thursday Apple says. Although it’s still processing:/ Weird thing happened this morning though, my iPad wasn’t showing up on my order page. Neither the app or website was working kept saying check back later... Has this happened to anyone else?
Mine at some point. I couldnt go on to orders page. It kept saying check back later... It did go back to normal at the end.
Apple is likely just doing maintenance on the order status pages. I had that happen too.
The surface of the keyboard case seems kind of tender, so I wonder if the glue could damage it after months or years of usage. Personally, I've accepted that money were thrown into the trash with this purchase. I'll enjoy using it as intended while it's new and will consider a dbrand to hide the ugliness once the wear shows itself.
Not waiting for an iPP from Apple but I am with this thread in spirit. Chose to purchase from a local retailer to get it faster but also decided to take advantage of interest free financing because why not. Now I kind of know why not though as it's been a week waiting for all the paperwork to go through and I can't see it delivered before 2-3 more days at least. My Magic keyboard, Pencil and new set of AirPods are looking very sad still sealed on the desk in front of me. Parcel app has been silent on the dbrand shipping for a couple of days now as well. This waiting game is quite tiresome.
Welcome to our waiting room ... where none of the sofas are covered in plastic. Make yourself comfortable and help yourself to whatever's in the fridge.
The residue that the skin might leave on the MK can be cleaned off with stuff like Goo Gone. The thing I like best about having a skin on is not seeing or having to clean off any fingerprints.

There's something about Apple, they somehow manage to keep me in the waiting mode even when they aren't directly involved. It's so frustrating.
I've waited for an iMac with a proper VESA mount and MBP with a keyboard that didn't suck for years. I gave up and got a Mac mini this year that I also waited a year for them to update just for them to not freaking update it properly
Was not about to wait another 2 years or indefinitely, so clenched my teeth and pressed that Purchase button, then waited weeks for it to arrive. Been waiting for a properly updated iPP since last year, you all know how that turned out. Can't wait another 6 months+ to see what's next. I hope to be done with this waiting game for a while once this iPad Pro arrives. Apple needs not to tempt me with anything for 2-3 years at least.I'll see how annoying those fingerprints get and decide on the skin later.
