Hi there just curious what peoples experiences are. I ordered the 2020 12.9 on the 15th of September. Yesterday on the 8th I got charged and then today (a Friday) it shipped from China and is currently in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.
| I’m on the east coast (USA). Do you think I’ll get it this weekend or Monday? Estimated delivery from ups says next Friday the 16th but Apple says the 19th. when i first ordered it the delivery window was 19-22nd. Was curious what’s people’s experiences are with this. |
You’ll get it within a week! Mine didn’t go to Hong Kong, but the journey from China to me in the Southern US via UPS took exactly 7 Days from the Label being created and getting it Delivered.

Ordered mine on Best Buy and got it in 2 days...why are you guys waiting?
Some people want the Back-To-School deal. Or some, want the reliable shipping that Apple includes in your order.
Someone earlier in this thread had ordered from Best Buy, only for her order to take several wrong routes and did not come in the timeframe that Best Buy or the USPS provided.
it depends on what you want the IPP for. I went for the 12.9” because it is a better experience taking notes with an Apple Pencil. The 9.7 IPad is quite small. I see you have a Surface laptop- why would you need another?
Well, the Surface Laptop is more of a Backup. I rarely use it after I got this iPad. The post was a joke, lol.
Same here about order date and charge timeline, only difference is mine shipped from TN- should have it tomorrow.
Because we’re all masochists who love experiencing painful, anxiety inducing situations, lol. 🤣 Actually, I ordered from Apple because they offered $200 more for my trade than Best Buy. Now, I’m glad I did, because I “met” a lot of great people here. In a couple of days, I’ll be in the iPhone shipping thread, lol, and it’ll start all over again!
My iPad Pro 11 is finally home, dressed up in a dbrand skin, mounted on the Magic keyboard and accompanied by a Pencil. Knowing myself, setting it up will take few days but I’m really enjoying it so far.
The keyboard is better than I expected. I have a topre board for my desktop at home, which is one of the best (kinda) mechanical experiences money can buy, and MX Keys for my office PC, which is one of the best chicklet style keyboards around, and MK is a very worthy addition to my little collection. The thing is a joy to type on. Being able to type on the iPad with this level of comfort feels almost surreal. And don’t get me started on not having to raise my arm every time I need to reposition the cursor. This whole setup feels like a laptop and is comfortable to use in all places and poses I’ve tried to use it so far.
Tomorrow my new watch should arrive. Mom borrowed my AW4 and enjoyed it too much to return, so I had a perfect excuse to get a new one. Paying with FaceID while wearing a mask hasn’t been fun past couple weeks. Once it’s here, I’m done waiting things from Apple for a while... 2-3 years, hopefully.
But then having this new iPP around kinda makes me crave a phone that hurts less when I drop it on my face. That Mini could be a nice replacement for my XS Max...

naaah. It’s 3 am here I just woke up to watch NBA finals and read your post.... you had me in the first half not gonna lie....😂 then I was like no way he return his iPad after all those tough processing days.😂😂 I have MacBook but after I get this iPP and mobile feeling I think if it works it‘s better to go with MK with iPP. Using this giant screen between my hands made me feel so good.🤩 (And obviously I’m creating excuses to get myself a MK)😂😋

Oh, oh .... so sorry. It's a well-known game apparently, but I'm fairly new to it. It's quite silly and addictive, and not the usual stuff I go for. Thanks for the well wishes though.

I read that thread a while back, and that's some pretty rough treatment if only after 6 months. I've had mine for 4 months now and another two months isn't going to suddenly produce what's shown on that thread. I have no doubt those are real photos, and if I recall, no skins were used, but you have to wonder ... My general rule is no tech device goes in a backpack.@DiamondarBoss , have a look at this thread. It makes me more concerned for your Magic Keyboard. 😩
