Oh god please no haha! You're new here I suppose ? . iPad Pro stocks has always been very low since probably beginning of this summer. With people working at home and online schools etc people inclined to buy iPads more than ever. Most of us here waited around 1 month to get our iPads. I, personally, don't think the new Pros are coming this year. At least not until 1st quarter of 2021. Yeap I know there've been rumors about it and eventually it will get A14Z or X but also that rumors say it'll come with new display etc. Long story short, low stocks are probably due to high demand. But 2020 is a strange year in every aspect so Apple may come with a new Pro in the November event. (Fingers crossed please don't let this happen we just bought it?)

Okay. I am in fact new ☺ I was looking the pricing between Air and Pro and concluded it didn’t make sense to get 256GB Air as almost same price I could get the low end Pro. However the shipping times made me rethink the situation.

The leakers that I'd trust has not said anything about iPad Pros in November. But as I said 2020 is a strange year anything can happen. We don't want new iPad because we just bought but...it'll eventually happen. ?

While obviously not impossible, it's *very* unlikely that the iPad Pro would be updated twice in one year. It's usually updated once every year and a quarter to year and a half (roughly every 500 days) and it's been just over 200 days since the last update. https://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#12-9-iPad-Pro

The iPad Pro appears to be in the middle of a release cycle and they're still selling like hotcakes. With it being so 'new', there's no need from an innovation perspective to refresh it and from a business perspective, they're selling so well still that there's no need to refresh the line to increase sales.

I'd expect the earliest a new iPad would be released to be March, which would still be pretty early compared to previous cycles. Latest is probably September in an event similar to the one this last September where the Air was announced. An announcement date on 14th September 2021 (nearest Tuesday a year from the 2020 iPad Air release event) would put the lifecycle for the current gen iPad Pro 12.9" at 545 days, which would fit just fine with the length of the previous dates.

Everyone is waiting for a new device for so long amd i am waiting for the replacement .They are replacing it in the same duration as i have placed a new order . Talked to them almost 10 times they promised me it will be delivered before the expected date . 28oct - 05th november is the expected delivery. But i Doubt , And it is still in processing.

Hey guys! I've been following this thread since I ordered my iPad Pro on Sep. 29th. I've tried to be patient until it arrives but I've been refreshing the page nonstop since my delivery window started. My delivery window is from Oct. 21 to 28. But I've had no luck and no signs of the package moving.

So my question is, do you guys think it would get here before next week like by Friday maybe?
(I'm in Texas btw)

I’m in Texas too. Mine came within the Delivery Timeframe. I wouldn’t worry too much at this point. You’re almost there!

Dont know its a express replacement or not ,i just called to the after sales team for the replacemnt and they told me it will be delivered in 10 days and after that i called them more than 10 times and now they are saying it will delivered within 3-4 week and it is also showing in my order page

They just get my ipad back on 7 october and i recieved a credit note on 11th october.

A Horrible Experience for me . Will not think of purchasing Online again from Apple.
A long 2 month waiting for an ipad is just now unbearable.

I am now seeing delivery times as early as November 3 for 12.9” models and November 9 for 11” inch models for orders placed today (October 22). Looks like they’re really starting catching up to demand now that the education promo is over.

To be fair, there wasn’t really a problem with your iPad. All of ours do that too, and so do my friends’. There was no reason to send it back.

But, since you did send the your “Defective” iPad back first, it isn’t a Express Replacement. Like I said, it is what it is.

Only three days into my iPhone 12 order and it’s already beginning to feel like the wait for the iPad Pro all over again! Might end up refreshing the order page just as much as I did for my iPad order before it finally sees some movement. ?

Notice how I have @DiamondarBoss favourite word highlighted and circled, which I have the honour of staring at for another week or so. ?

Could you remind me what wasn’t misaligned? It was the Frame skin, right?


I’m not gonna buy any frame skins. They seem like a pain to install and almost never look completely smooth and flush.

Mine changed to shipped this afternoon and is now due for delivery tomorrow. Happy days! The Bellemond Paper Screen Protector I plan on using arrived yesterday and I have a Logitech Slimfolio case due to arrive hopefully tomorrow too.

You would need AppleCare+ for that.

When I click on the link to track my order it goes a bit weird. It directs to the DPD website and it says:

“Your parcel has been delivered and received by TEGEN DDYNOLDS at 12:10 on Fri 17 Apr 2020”

When I type in my postcode it says:
“Postcode doesn’t match delivery postcode”

Seems like it’s tracking the wrong parcel.

Should I be worried?
