I just checked all models and configs of the iPad Pro for US shipping from the Apple Store, and they’re quoting August 25 for some models, and 4-5 weeks (Sept 2-10) for all others. Not sure where the 8-9 weeks is coming from if it’s for the US.

Even though you’ve already ordered, a little Apple Store app tip if you don’t already know. Where the dates are listed, tap on the Check Another Store. It displays a screen with all of the sizes and options so you can easily check each one quickly.
The 8-9 Weeks was for an iMac 27-inch. I was just messing around :p

This drives me insane. I get nauseous at the idea that I've waited for this thing for approaching a month and there's a chance it'll get here defective.

On the off chance you get a defective one, you can contact Apple and I think they'll likely ship you a replacement ASAP (as they should). You won't have to endure another month-long wait. But I could be mistaken, especially during these times.

So my original delivery date was Tuesday August 4th. But over the weekend it changed to “tentative” and then delayed to august 6th. Today it went back to august 4th. So if anyone’s delivery date gets pushed back, there’s hope it may return back to the original date.

OMG, mine was the same! It was supposed to be delivered on tomorrow, but it went off to tentative and switched to the 6th 😒I’m scared to check it though, because if it’s still the 6th I’m gonna be a little sad 😭😭😭

sooooo, I did it!!! Tomorrow my iPad is coming!!!!! Sooooo excited!!!!

@Namara , just a Question. How difficult is it to lift up the iPad Pro in the Magic Keyboard? Lift the screen so you can type. I've heard the Magnets holding the iPad Pro to the Keyboard Base are too strong to comfortably lift up the iPad screen.

How difficult is it to lift off the iPad from the magnets? Easy to do with one hand, although I prefer to use two.

I had a chance to use another iPad Pro with the MK briefly. I think the easiest way to open it is to hold it vertically and unfold the keyboard portion down, rather than place it flat and lift the portion with the iPad up.
