I'm surprised how Quick Apple Support responded to my iCloud Messages/Contacts Problem. Apparently all my Messages will be put into the Device if I set it up from iCloud.

lol I just spoke with Apple and my iPad will come from the Italian delivery center (delivery in one or two days) therefore it is possible to deliver on time
Mine still says expected delivery on 8/6, but hasn’t updated progress since it departed AK....it’s getting so close I can feel the butterflies ??
Hm. My pencil shipped and spent 4 days in Shanghai, China, and moved to Osaka, Japan, about 8 hours ago.

Yep, had to return a few from Best Buy over the past month due to a couple of screen issues out of the box and one which had a dent across the corner of the rear camera bump (see pics). They probably received a bad batch. Have a feeling ordering from Apple directly this time will be the charm though!

I’ve been following this thread since I ordered my IPP to try and gauge when it would actually ship.
Surprisingly, about 2 hours ago my credit card was charged and status went to “preparing to ship”
This isn’t fun for some to hear but..... I ordered July 17. IPP 12.9 space gray 256GB WiFi only. No engraving. Expected delivery was August 18-25. I ordered with the education store and also live in Southern California as someone else said today! I start online classes august 17 so was praying it would magically arrive before I started!!
I’m sorry to those that are still waiting! I thought maybe this would help some people so I thought I would post. They must have a large amount of 12.9 coming to USA or something..... who knows lol

Haha yup, that was me. I’m starting classes on the 17th also, so I was hoping for the earlier side so I’d be fully used to it before classes revved up! I haven’t seen a charge yet, but I’ve moved to preparing to ship - I also did this on the Apple Card so it’s a monthly payment (although I really just wanted to build a little credit off a big purchase - and am gonna pay it off fully once I get it and see it’s in full working order)

I just checked all models and configs of the iPad Pro for US shipping from the Apple Store, and they’re quoting August 25 for some models, and 4-5 weeks (Sept 2-10) for all others. Not sure where the 8-9 weeks is coming from if it’s for the US.
