I never, ever, ever, ever, in all my days, want to see the word "processing," in any context, again. My general level of irritation hasn't been this volatile since birth.
YES! Both “processing” and “unprecedented” need to officially become banned after 2020.
When I was in middle school, I did the spelling bee and I missed the word blasphemy (ironic, right?) and that’s like a childhood trigger word for me now.
My IPP 12.9 shipped last night around 9! Hurray! It is currently “departed from EPZ China”

Yeah, that’s right. Point of origin is Eindhoven though, about 50 miles from where I live, not somewhere in Asia. So that explains the short transit.
I was hoping it would be shipped by UPS, but it’s DHL. We’ve had several bad experiences with them.. Not meeting delivery windows and claiming they have made delivery attempts when in fact I was home all day.
Anyway, we’ll see tomorrow if DHL can improve its track record!
Annnnnd as happy as I am for everyone getting their notifications, it's super irritating that I'm seeing folk shipping who purchased them at a later date than I.

To be fair, where I live - DHL have been one of the best. It's Yodel and Hermes that are experts in lying and losing parcels.

Same. Trying to stay positive. All productivity has ceased because I’m convinced I need my new iPad before I can continue my research.

I ordered my 11" SG 128GB WiFi on the 29th July, so got a while to wait yet 😭. Delivery is expected 20th Aug - 27th Aug.

agh me too! i saw someone on reddit that ordered after me (exact same model, with engraving) and their's already shipped!
Also, my Apple Pencil just cleared customs and has an expected delivery date of Aug 7th; Apple still says the 5th, and my original window was 6th-13th.
Was your pencil chilling out in Osaka, Japan, by chance?

Waiting for my IPP to clear customs. I had calculated that today would be the day it would clear and make its way to Alaska. My optimism is waning.
