Ended up cancelling my order since the one I wanted was in stock at a Target nearby. Didn’t get to save an extra $18 (work discount) though but it’s definitely better than waiting another week!

Okay, so, I’m officially over any “optimism” I once had. My ipad is supposed to be here on Thursday (8/6), but it’s still in Hong Kong. No updates since 7/31. Hoping it’s actually in Alaska and just hasn’t been updated.

I guarantee it’s not in Alaska. Mine was suppose to be delivered tomorrow and it just hit Alaska today. UPS has now changed my delivery date to 8/7 from 8/5. Almost 5 weeks!
My apple pencil cleared US customs but there is no notification that it arrived in Alaska. Maybe some people's items just didn't get scanned in?

I was supposed to get my 12.9" tomorrow, then this morning it was changed to Friday, now this evening it's been pushed back again until next Monday. It was one more day, now it's six.

nevermind! Just got a notification that arrived and left Alaska after going through customs!
UPS seems to update hours late for me (my package left Anchorage at 2:30 pm, didn't get the notification until almost 7 hours later!)... keep checking i guess

i was hoping the delivery window was a conservative estimate and it would actually arrive weeks earlier. i was wrong and it will arrive the latter part of the delivery window. in my case it was a 26 day waiting period between purchase and actual manufacture of the ipad which seems to be the average of that point in time, though it seems like manufacturing has been ramped up a bit and wait times are less now.

My iPad Pro has been in Incheon, Korea since yesterday morning. Fingers Crossed it will catch a flight Tonight to Alaska. It's supposed to arrive to my House, in the Southern United States on August 6. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon it will Arrive in Alaska.
My iPad still hasn't departed Korea. I really hope it will arrive August 6 and not later because I need time to get it all set up and Familiarize myself with it.
