My mind tanked around the time I placed my order, July 12. This whole sh'bang is way more toxic than it needs to be.
Yeah, I know. That’s why I picked mine up from the UPS access point. They deliver there by 1:00 instead of 7 or 8:00 in my neighborhood. Plus, I didn’t have to worry about it being delivered to the wrong address or stolen. A couple of weeks ago, the driver was trying to deliver my package to a house 3 doors away from mine. Luckily, I was outside and saw him. Somebody would have gotten a free gift! Peace of mind for me.
I feel like a puppy who’s been stuck inside all day waiting for my owners to get back and I’m going insane!!!! I have no clue when UPS delivers stuff to my area 😭
I know it's not available in all areas, but when you're logged into your UPS account, does it give you options to follow the truck on a map? On the one hand it's reassuring to know when the truck is in your neighborhood; on the other hand, it can make you wonder why the heck they're taking the route they are. It's enough to make one want to go out into the street and simply flag it down.
I can’t even make an account 😂 I tried to make one, and it said my address was a business and not a residence so I couldn’t make an account 😤 don’t make sense but oh well haha

I had that happen too for a place I lived, and it was so frustrating! I think there's some process where you can get it changed, but it seemed not worth it.

So far I am loving mine. Netflix in Dolby Vision HDR is gorgeous and sound is amazing. Safari navigation is buttery smooth and buying Procreate was a wise decision. Love drawing on the iPad.
As for a case, I went for a Spigen Tough Armor Pro. I don't really use it as a productivity tool so I didn´t feel the need to go for a keyboard case. Spigen is a brand I trust and has proven to protect my phones amazingly well. In my previous iPads I used Invisible Shield screen protectors and they were amazing.For this one I am not putting one because of the Apple Pencil. Downside is fingerprints are noticeable as hell, so having a microfiber cloth nearby is a must.
It was a long wait but it will be definitely worth it.

My iPad showed up today! Transferring my data to my new iPad now! Yay! That was a long journey but it was worth it in the end. Hope everyone else who ordered in July gets theirs soon. Thanks all!

Oh my god. You now have me looking at UPS flights on flight tracker. This sickness does spread. ;-) I ordered on 7/24 and it looks like my 12.9 left Incheon this past evening and is minutes away from Anchorage. I used to have Friday as delivery date, it switched to Monday and now it says "Rescheduled Delivery" with no estimate. I think it's because its going to come down to whether the flight turns around and heads for KY on time after landing. Why, oh why, did you guys have to show me this UPS flight tracker!
Are you one of those people trained on removing fingernails and waterboarding? Don't torture me with that thought! 😂😂😂

do u think i should get a glass screen protector or nah? i bought the matte one but i have decided not to use it cause i saw some reviews that it will ruin my apple pencil.
I don't see the point in getting one, unless you know it could possibly be used roughly or you have the potential of dropping it. The apple pencil doesn't scratch the screen if you make sure to clean debris off of it.
Ordered my iPad Pro 12.9 128GB WiFi Space Grey on the 23.07 and my delivery date is between 14-21 August.

Just finished setting it up - initial thoughts already (cause I’ve been running off the iPad Pro 1st gen from 2015) -
Display is gorgeous - not just brighter, but wayyy more clarity.
Frame rate is insane for this thing.
I downloaded most of my current iPads apps (about 45 apps) and it was done in about 4 minutes.
The WiFi-6 connection is awesome.
Speakers are so clear (haven’t tested the mics just yet)
I got the smart folio keyboard and love the two positions it can sit - I will probably invest in the next iteration of Magic Keyboard - but we’ll cross that bridge next summer or so.
It’s worth the wait and I’m excited for everything

Yup. Same for me. It's going to come down to what happens in Alaska. If that plane follows it's plan of leaving 30 minutes later for KY, you're going to be pretty happy. I have almost the same status. Mine departed Korea facility at 12:02am and delivery date on the site is gone. But I can see estimate delivery on the UPS app for Monday.
I just got my IPP this afternoon! I absolutely love this thing - I haven’t used an iPad since the iPad 2 so this is a crazy improvement to what I was used to. I‘ve updated the machine and loaded all of my apps and I cant be more excited about using this as my daily driver.
I’m selling my MacBook Pro and sticking with the IPP for the foreseeable future. To everyone still waiting its definitely worth the wait!
