I had to wait over 20 days for my iPad to move to “Preparing to Ship”. You guys are so lucky

my iPad departed from Alaska but I still have no shipping date. Hopefully it comes tomorrow.
Starting to think I ordered mine waaaaay too early. Should've waited a week and it would've likely already seen some movement. 😂

And too late. Seems like almost everyone who ordered before and after has already seen some movement except me lol.
Mine is in Korea but not moving and the ups website and app are still saying rescheduled delivery with no delivery date. Originally delivery was this Friday and then pushed to next Monday. I really really hope it moves soon even though it just got to Korea earlier today.
I know this was a thing on my Old IPP, but it’s so much better on this new one.
With the 6GB of RAM, and that Performance and Refresh Rate, it’s so amazing.
I can have whole other browser windows open with 4-6 tabs in it AND have Macrumors open. It’s a Dream come True.
If only I had this Luxury with my old iPad Pro, it would reach it’s max of 2GB of Ram with 3 safari tabs with nothing else in the Backround.
So when’s the next IPP gonna have 8 or 16 gigs of RAM?

Exact same situation for me. Originally scheduled for Friday, got pushed to Monday, and now it just says Rescheduled delivery. Got in Korea today as well.
I ordered my 12.9" SG 256gb Wifi+Cellular on Sunday, Aug 9. I have the same delivery window, Sept 10-17. I keep hoping it will ship sooner too.

It has only been a few days and it already feels like I have waited forever. We should probably see movement on our iPads around the same time. I ordered the pencil gen 2 and got the free AirPods along with my iPad. The estimated delivery date for the Pencil was Aug 18-25 but it arrived yesterday with the Airpods. Hopefully the iPad will do the same. Please keep me updated on the status of yours.

oh my, I'm so worried that the iPad won't come on time, is it normal that it has been stuck in processing for so long? The Airpods and Apple Pencil I ordered alongside it came instantly but the iPad has been stuck in processing for soooo long now. I spoke to an Apple Customer Service Representative and they said that the base model iPad Pros were being dispatched from a local warehouse in the UK, has this happened? Are they shipping batches from the factories in China over to the regional warehouses?
Yes, it’s normal. Items ordered in Spain get distributed from Italy. So, when the iPad is shipped to you it should arrive the next day (or monday if it ships on friday).
Mine was to be delivered between 11 and 18 august, it has shipped today and should arrive sometime tomorrow. My guess is you’ll get yours either tomorrow or monday.
I've been using the iPad daily and it's such a stunning device.
I'm a programmer and I work on some very complex apps. My brain hurts when trying to piece everything together, so I like to grab a pen and paper and just draw maps of how the code will flow through various systems and code functions.
But then I have a ton of messy scrawls on paper.
The iPad is ideal - I can just scribble away in Apple Notes using the pencil and drag things as I need.
No more paper for me!

Mine has just “cleared customs” but not yet departed Kentucky. ETA is today! Hopefully it’s true, though I’m not sure how quick they can get it up to northern PA...
I’ve noticed while charging the iPad with the 29W Fast Charger, the Bottom Part of the iPad next to the Charger Port gets a little bit warm. Where the Speaker Grilles are. I’m sure it’s normal, but now my Magic Keyboard Palmrests are warm. (I was charging it with the MK Closed).
I was rapidly charging it from ~10% to 90% in less than an Hour so I guess that‘s why.

Mine said the same for Texas. It won’t come today. It said Delivery Date of August 6, but at 10PM August 6 it hadn’t moved on from ”Cleared Customs”. Then, overnight it Hopped on a plane over here and it was out for Delivery the next Morning On August 7.
