man, I'm sorry about the drop. Do you have a picture of the ripple you mentioned? That's the bit that would scare me.

The MK is always gonna get scuffed, that's half it's purpose in life. I can live with that.

You're right about keeping the AC+ claims for big ones though.

The Ripple is very small but there. This hurts me so much. At least when it’s on the MK you can’t see it much. But it’s there.

I treat my Devices very well, and this wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t stupid and kept it on one of those chairs with the Slippery Cloth.

I’m saving AppleCare+ for something bad, like the Screen Cracking or dents on all 4 Corners.

The Aluminum on this is Either Very Thin or very weak compared to my old iPad Pro. I dropped my old one from a Meter height with NO case on onto Solid Marble. It got the same dent as this one falling onto Wood from 20cm.

I thought I didn’t need a case, but I guess I do. But until the End of This Month I’m gonna try to be more Careful. If I drop it again or come close to Dropping it I’m ordering that case.

I have to stop dying about this. By old iPad Pro had like Bazzilion dents and I didn’t care.

But this iPad is too thin, I hope after my AppleCare+ Expires in 2 years they come out with a more Durable model, if I dropped my old iPP from the same height at the same place, It would have a dent half the size of this one. Time to treat this as a Laptop. Keep it at my Desk all the time, carry it around ONLY in my Backpack, and make Sensible Decisions.
 
My iPad just left Hong Kong after spending less than 2 days there! From looking up UPS flights out of there around that time, I presume it made it onto this flight en route to Anchorage as we speak. Now hoping it somehow gets delivered earlier, though the delivery date is still scheduled for next Wednesday 8/26.

Just a quick Question: Is it ok for me to keep my iPad Pro plugged in through the Passthrough Charging on my Magic Keyboard?

I don’t want to Degrade the Battery. I think I’ll just unplug it. It’s not getting warm, though. It’s drawing about 12 Watts from my Charger at the passthrough port on the magic keyboard. I am using the 29W Fast Charger. I checked the Wattage using a Current meter.

It seems to be holding steady at 95%.

Any Thoughts?

Also @jungkookhobi Yay! Your iPad is out for Delivery! You’ll love it. I’d recommend getting a case, though. Don’t want any bad things happening to your new Purchase.

Sooo...mine is still hanging out in Korea. :( And looking at the UPS flight schedules (if im not reading them wrong) it looks like there was maybe on flight into Anchorage early this morning and that's it...didn't see anything for the rest of the day. Still scheduled for delivery on Tuesday but i am hoping that maybe, maybe it will come monday. I'm having a root canal Monday morning and will be off all day lol.

Day 21 with nary a peep. For better or worse, I can't actually track my order (the campus store ordered it from apple on my behalf), so I'm sort of guessing at my timeline based on yours and janekenstein's. Hopefully MyChoice will notice a package on the way in the next few days.

All of the accessories I ordered for my iPad and Apple Pencil (cases, screen protectors, etc) are supposed to be here today via Amazon. Figuring out if I should open them today or wait on the iPad to arrive. I can at least put the Apple pencil in its silicone sleeve...maybe that will allay some anxiety?! Lol.
