iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Is this what OCD is like?
Cmd-r Cmd-r Cmd-r Cmd-r Cmd-r, obsessively refreshing pages. My wife is convinced I've completely lost my mind. Her and the kids are crashed. My eyes are bleeding.
I'm off to Best Buy and the mall to goggle at the people lined up - it's a semi-annual tradition now for me. It's kinda like a train wreck...just a sick fascination with watching people that are willing to camp out. I tip my hat to them, they have far more dedication than I.
And possibly, just possibly, I'll have an update on my iPad, which is currently on the Korean Flight of Doom when I return...

Not when the browser of choice is Chrome...
I got mine at 11:28, though I didn't see it until what was 11:50 Kentucky time, and it seems most everyone else on here got theirs at 11:20, so... they must be processing this pallet now... I'm still a little worried about how quickly my package needs to get itself out of Kentucky, but Thomas (http://twitter.com/ThomasAtUPS) assures everyone that if you HAVEN'T received notice that you won't be getting it Saturday, then you WILL be getting it saturday.
I'm gonna be doing some serious thinking the next time a new Apple product. Sure, posting in threads like this is fun, but is tracking this thing, and having to wait and wait for it to update really worth it? Now don't get me wrong, I am having a great time! But what do you think you will do next time?

I'm definitely an "in store pick up" kind of guy, especially now that I'm setup with a business account at my local store. I just happened to be out of town this weekend, and wanted it as early as possible, so sent it to my parents house where I am this weekend.
Now hopefully my masterful plan doesn't backfire and I get my iPad tomorrow with no problems.
Well this is not my first apple product of course, but it is the first product I ordered on opening day.....and I can say I WILL be doing this again
The UPS 21 arrival was at 2:52, so this must have been a different flight. The official line from UPS is still that if you are eligible for saturday delivery you'll be getting it tomorrow... here's hoping they have some tricks up their sleeves (such as back up units already waiting at strategic locations throughout the nation)
Stuck on "Billing Information Received"
However, I'm not worried. This happens a lot with Amazon shipments at Christmastime. I'm in LA and who knows how many thousands are coming here! I imagine it's in the middle of a pallet somewhere.
Amazon said that when there are heavy shipments they often palletize a large number of orders and that the individual orders don't get tracked. I'm assuming (hoping) the same thing is happening here. The UPS guy on twitter said shouldn't be a problem.
Here's the actual text from Amazon's help page: :The first package scan may be upon arrival at a regional hub near the destination. (This is common when shipping volume is high and packages are processed in bulk.)
The first package scan not be until delivery. (If you don't see any tracking data for your shipment, and the estimated delivery date has not yet passed, please do not be concerned.)"
It does feel like the night before Christmas though!
