North Dallas Peeps - Looks like our iPads made it to the local Mesquite Hub. Wish I could just go pick it up instead of waiting. Normally UPS doesn't hit my neighborhood until late afternoon around 4ish. Hopefully it will be different today. I can't imagine UPS having too many non Saturday deliveries given the price they charge.

UPS typically hires a third party to provide customer service. I know one of those reps and he said they have access to same information as the customer. In other words, calling them today is no better than checking your status online.

I know its exciting and nerve-racking waiting for your iPad but calling UPS won't help those nerves. Every indication is that if you will have your iPad in your hands by the end of today, assuming you have Saturday delivery.

I've talked to a friend that works at UPS and they said that they try to keep all Saturday deliveries before 2 PM... hopefully its the same today!

Yes, and in my dream, the iPad arrived and was the size of a credit card (smaller than the iPhone). I couldn't figure out how they made the how to videos where it appeared so much larger.

Mine just shows arrival scan. But its at a UPS facility 30 minutes away in a smaller town and not my own. That was at 6AM and no updates yet. I'm still hoping. In fact I'm in my waiting position now to wait for the UPS driver to come.

ZOMFG!! I JUST SAW A UPS TRUCK PASS BY MY HOUSE!! I didn't know they worked this early, (9AM EST) especially on a Saturday. o.o

From the West Village: A USPS truck made deliveries to my building when I took the dog out at 8.30. That killed me. I asked if he's seen any UPS trucks. He smiled, smirked and left.

Mine is still in transit but I'm guessing it is already out or about to be. According to my doorman, special Sat deliveries at my building always happen in the morning. Hopefully, the trend will continue.
