I've known many "ERAU boys" over the years. It's a great school from what I understand.Oh - on topic - still jumping at the sound of any truck on my street.
If the 1-800-PICK-UPS number says "your package is on the way to you" does it mean it on the truck out for delivery? Online status only shows it arrived in Lexington. I called the local UPS and the guy said if Apple didn't explicitly put 'Saturday delivery' on the package it isn't coming today. So those that have got it, is there a 'Saturday Delivery' sticker on your shipping box? That's what my local UPS facility is going by for authorized Saturday delivery.
I'd be pissed too. Sorry that you got such poor delivery service. I feel your pain

Ugh. I heard a knock on the front door which was partly open while I was getting out of the shower and heard a voice say "Delivery" and I had the kids race down to get it only to find a really really small box. It turns out it was the VGA adapter for the iPad rather than the iPad itself.
I won't know till "it" arrives.... but a girl could only be this elusive

And yea, I keep getting up and looking out the window at any sound.... I have all of the doors and windows open to my house because its going to ge to 85 today
, but it also helps me hear when they are coming cus my house is practically sound proof xDMy info is similar, except it says it is "Enroute" from where the UPS plane landed, in a city 45 minutes west of me... I know it is already here and I know the trucks have already left - my friend said he saw their entire fleet go out at once at 7:45
I hope mine's just a bit delayed for today, apparently there some issues going down at my local hub (no idea what) but im told for saturday delivery you either get it before noon or before 3, so im still crossing my fingers for a delivery today!
Dont worry, mine only shows an arrival too - and KONT is the closest hub besides LAX so without a doubt you should have it today - it just isn't updating

In Phoenix here - and seeing this caused me to check my tracking number. Neither the original or the alternate (given once the hold was placed) have been updated - both just list (holding for a later date) the same info. So I called. UPS International shipments told me that since Saturday delivery was available in my area, I should expect it today. I'll believe it when it's here, but that's a positive sign! Sorry you have to wait.. i'm not sure I'd go brave the lines and whatnot today when you can have it monday.. that's a lot of drama for a 2 day wait. OTOH, it's fun getting something on release day, so I feel your pain. This is my first release day Apple product since the original ipod (you know with the wheel that spins and is chunky / black and white, lol) as I usually have a very strict no 1st gen rule.
btw, Houston is number four under NYC, LA, Chicago - one number above Phoenix.

That is UPS policy for all non-UPS boxes, that they must have Saturday Delivery stickers on them... I have gotten an iPhone Saturday delivered from their factory when I got a customer replacement (brand new in retail packaging) and it had the sticker wrapped around it.
