iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

Mine is Monday delivery, and it said it was on it's way. Just automated message to make people go away.

Checking in from "southern" northern California...

My latest tracking info says "Destination Scan" and NOT "out for delivery... but it looks like that doesn't matter at this point. So now I'm just sitting here waiting... :D

Why does my local hub have to be a stickler for policy? Today should be an exception. I guess they didn't want to have additional Saturday staff scheduled. I hate to wait around at my place of work all day and don't know if they are really coming or not.

I just realized... I can watch the traffic cam that is down my street!

I live in one of the biggest suburbs in my area, and its a very nice one too. But everything is pretty close around here.

Anyways, where one of our highways comes and meets my street like 2 miles down the road, there is a traffic cam.

And I always see UPS trucks coming off it for delivery to my area - WATCHING INTENTLY :D
 
This is freakin agony. No signs of UPS. No status updates since several days ago. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

People all over the forum are getting theirs, or at least getting status updates. This sucks.

It seems that it's rare. Most are never getting it and it just get's delivered.
 
I am almost tempted to drive to my local Best Buy that has been open for an hour and a half... I called them, they still have iPads in stock...

Just got mine, live in Millcreek (Erie suburbs for those not near here).

I agree, I never expected it today. At ~10:30am local time UPS still had it in transit to Erie from Pittsburgh (departutre 7:49am today). 10 minutes later UPS is at my front door with it.

DaBrain - here's hoping you'll have yours today too!

(Note: Yes, I joined this forum just to post this. Wanted to help out others.)

Just got mine - 10:23 local time.

Mine has an orange Saturday sticker on it.

Even though I was home, I printed out and signed the pre-authorization. UPS guy didn't take it, so UPS has no proof that they delivered it.

Sloppy. :confused:

But it's here, so now I'm off to play!

Here's my last tracking status - note that it's impossible to get from the Palatine center to my house in less than 20-25 minutes so the scan times are hard to believe.

Anyone who got the "No Sat Delivery Email" get theirs on Sat still?

I got one of those emails, but my iShip says it is at my destination hub. I called UPS Int'l Shipping, and the computer says it is out for delivery. I hope that is so, but I can't help but feel that it will say that regardless, and won't get it until Monday.

So, anyone who got that email still got their iPad on Saturday?
