i'm just "over yander" inland. I wanted to go to ERAU badly but didn't, i'm hoping my DD will decide to do something and go there! LOL!!

It's a beautiful day in FL - could be MORE beautiful though with BROWN showing up.

Does a DESTINATION scan mean it got on a delivery truck? I can't imagine them loading a truck that far away.... unless they only had one truck full for the area. But it is 2h 45m away.... they'd have to switch drivers at some point.
 
I just got it.
Westbury, NY, with last entry on iShip tracking saying my local hub (destination scan) about an hour ago. No "out for delivery".
The UPS guy knew what it was, I'm sure everyone's aware of the Saturday iPad rush.

OMFG JUST GOT IT!!!!
The UPS Guy said they had a TONNN of them in Rochester today... he said half of his deliveries are for iPads.

I will take a pick of the box so people will know what it looks like. And yes it has the Saturday delivery Sticker along with a DO NOT DR (do not drop) sticker on it.

CANT WAIT TO OPEN IT UP!!!!!!

The deal is that Apple is one of UPS's biggest customers, and they are working on a special agreement to try to get all packages Delivered on Saturday April 3rd...HOWEVER, since there are hundreds of THOUSANDS of packages, some packages have been marked by APPLE, not UPS for Monday april 5th delivery. Apple is sending notifications to their customers on which date will be theirs. If apple sends you an email that says you're getting it saturday YOU ARE GETTING IT SATURDAY. If apple sends you an email saying you're getting it monday YOU ARE GETTING IT MONDAY.

So, I understand this. I got the Monday email. But anyone who got the Monday email get their iPad on Sat? Just hoping someone can dispute this with actual fact!

OMG.

You are killing me - mine should be coming to Leesburg too - but it went to JAX and then St Augustine.

It's a good thing BB doesn't have them - i would have just bought one!

ETA: I wonder if mine is being handled out of Ocala? This just makes no sense to me at all.... NONE.

Meanwhile:

--I have been at my DOOR since 9am. No UPS truck even came down my street this morning, let alone made a delivery attempt.

--I don't live in Watertown. I have never lived in Watertown. No one I know lives in Watertown. I live in Cambridge. My shipping and billing address are both correctly identified as Cambridge.

--Called UPS, they have the correct delivery address. They can't explain the Watertown thing, as the package was supposed to be routed through Somerville.

--They claim there's nothing they can do as 'our service centers are closed on Saturday.'

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident with UPS as they have claimed fake deliveries to me in the past. Really weird as I live very close to their sorting/distribution facility in a very well populated part of the city that's easy to drive to and even park to stop to make deliveries.

At this point they can keep their goddamned iPad as I have no interest in their possible redelivery on Monday (maybe once again to an address I don't live at in Watertown) when I will of course be at work. I'm going to walk over to my local Apple Store (a few blocks away) and see if I can pick one up. If not, I'll make due with my MacBook Pro.

I probably never should have trusted UPS delivery to begin with. Lesson learned.

I actually got two identical emails from Apple saying I wouldn't get mine till Monday. But UPS was at my door at 9:30 this morning with my iPad. So I am one happy camper today. And Fedex came 5 minutes earlier with the case, but still waiting on the dock.
 
My package should have arrived in Gardena by now ( should have taken an hour with traffic from Ontario).
