I hate UPS right now. My stupid package is not even at the sorting facility where I live and I was told that it won't be delivered until Monday, even though Saturday delivery is available in my area. GRRRRR!!!! Last time I deal with UPS. They have lost a lifetime customer.
Meanwhile, I got sick of waiting and *UCK waiting until Monday. I walked into my local Best Buy store, and it was practically dead (probably because the fanboys are attacking the Apple Stores).
I bought a 16GB iPad with no wait - even got to play with the display model - and the clerk said they had PLENTY in stock and hadn't even sold more then a few the entire day (all 16GB models).
UPS can go to hell.

Still nothing. I should have picked it up. Instead I'm stuck here all day waiting for a truck that I'm not even sure is coming.
Yeah, I read that... I haven't gotten a refund though. So it means nothing to me.
Got my case from FedEx...still waiting on my iPad from UPS... I called to double and triplecheck that I'd have it today and I will...they'll deliver by 7.

Steve Gibson is currently on Leo Laporte's show. UPS showed up at his house but had no iPad for him. He called UPS about it and he was told by UPS that their system is in a state of "meltdown", and that their depots are "disaster areas". In other words, UPS has utterly failed, just as everyone was concerned they would. Let this be a lesson to you, Apple: FedEx or ban.
