iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

I, like others, am stuck at "Billing Information Received". It took nearly 24 hours form when I got the email until that update, and it has been another 24+ hours stuck here.

I did check my card and it was charged yesterday, so I hope that means it is actually on its way.

Yeah, same boat as you, man. I'm stressing out. It's been sitting around on origin scan for over two days now. And now it's been billing information received since yesterday. Ugh, this is so painful haha.

P.S. I do realize that my life is actually pretty good if my biggest concern and cause of stress is my iPad being in China forever. But still, it's all relative.
 
patience is not one of my strong points. maybe i should of given up hitting refresh on the UPS website instead of road rage for lent. i think i'm more stressed over this than sitting in traffic.
 
Okay I am getting a little worried myself. Mine is still in GUANGZHOU, CN also. Where is Techdude to make everything seem alright? He is cheaper than paying a psychiatrist :)

I guess Apple is holding the shipments back until release date.

I honestly wouldn't worry. A friend and I ordered iMacs at the same time. He's in NY, I'm in California. We ended up getting are both on the same morning. These shippers will get you your iPad on the 3rd (if your area is deliverable, that is)
 
Mine's still sitting in China as well. I've had the "Origin Scan" since the 29th, and no movement since then. I'm starting to wonder if delivering all these iPads from China to the US by Saturday is too much for them to handle. It looks like I was one of the first to receive a tracking number and be updated with an Origin Scan, but there's been no activity since. Maybe it's just too much info for UPS to keep updated, and they've fallen behind as my device is already in the US (hopefully, but doubtful).
 
Ipad sitting in "EXPORT SCAN" status since 3/30

Good to know I'm not the only one who's obsessed. Is it wrong that I have the UPS tracking ap on my iPhone JUST so I can track the status of my iPad???

i was one of the first to place my order once the store came back up, one of the last to get a tracking number and still no movement. i too, live in ga. thank goodness we live in the ups capital of the world. i hope you detect the sarcasm.
 
I do believe it will be at my house on Saturday, but it is getting to be frustrating still seeing this 48 hours ahead of delivery:

this and Apple monkeying with UPS is what I am hoping for as well :)

This is to go to my bundlebox (Louisville), then have to arrange flight for it to London so will be more like the 7th for me :p but with no release date for UK I can live with that!

I'm in the same position, mine still says:

I am right there with you. I had all kinds of tracking info in the beginning to KY and even Fort Worth. All of that went away and now I have the same thing many folks have-billing info received and hanging out in Shenzen. The wait is killing me. I had to order a pair of shoes online today just to give myself a package that will actually move!

I believe he's a high school student (I know, weird!?) and he said he'd check in on his lunch break.
 
Ok im a little worried, mine still shows billing recv and it's Been 36 hours showing that, but the charge postd on my Amex but it's a weird name

We might as well stop looking at tracking status online they are useless. UPS has told me that mine will arrive on Monday and I'm out of luck until then. They probably just stopped updating shipments that are part of the iPad launch.

The guy on the phone asked me right before getting the tracking number if i was calling about the iPad lol. Bet they are having fun :)

Why is yours arriving Monday? Do you live in an area without Saturday delivery? Or did they just tell you that because they are sick of people calling them asking about their iPads?

I'm guessing UPS is just too lazy to update the fracking tracking number. Because Apple guranteed it to me on Saturday, and Saturday delivery us available in my area. But there's no way if they ship it tomorrow I will get it on Saturday. I wasted my whole fracking Spring Break looking forward to this so I can have a weekend+2days to play with it. I have a feeling that I'm gonna get it on Saturday though...
