Mine hit Alaska at 9:13 PM. It's funny, because it was shipped out of China on 4/2 and it lands in Alaska on 4/1.I mean, I understand how that works, haha, but still, it is funny to see.

It's actually based off a military concept called swag- (Scientific Wild Arsed Guess)
Hopefully you will get your location scan in AK in an hour, about 2 minutes after they scan mine.
The specific answer is to look at it like a detective, you know where it is going (Alaska, then Kentucky) you know where it was (China) and they give you hints with the tracking updates.

Okay, based off what you gave us, and the information we have.... the assumption is that your unit escaped being scanned en route and will suddenly appear in the next 24 hours in Kentucky or your local UPS location
Yes, it is a cop-out, but there are MANY folks in this situation, and the differences in how these things are logged/scanned makes the whole thing a crap shoot.
But the basic premise is this... Apple paid a helluva lot of money to deliver these things on the 3rd and 5th, and UPS is not going to be judged on the accuracy of the tracking.
Thats sounds very logical. Thanks for the information. I will now try and get some sleep. I bet you are right and it will just show up. The last site did say that it was in transit and maybe it is in the middle of a pallet and could not be scanned. Thanks for the info.
Also, this is all based off of the assumption that there isn't something coming out of zggg (SHENZHEN) in the next couple hours, after that there is no real way for anything from there making it to Louisville in time to get out in time for Saturday.

Well, UPS says mine left Guangzhou at 4:10 AM April 2nd local time (got the update around 7:30 last night) and it so far hasn't had any Hong Kong, South Korea, or Anchorage, AK scan. Hopefully UPS is just not perfect with their tracking.
