iPad shipped, Apple just sent out tracking numbers!

I have a feeling that the iPads that are already in KY are not going to ship out til later tonight. Looks like they will most likely ship it to Ontario later tonight and then truck it down to Gardena at like 2-3A.M. I hate it when it gets cut this close (even though it really isn't that close for them).

Ok. So I should have two iPad's on the way to my house tomorrow. One is for me and one for my friend who is out of town til Sunday.

Right now his unit is showing "out for delivery"! It showed it arriving at our local UPS hub near my house this morning, and now on the way here! Do you guys think I'll be getting it today?!?

My unit on the other hand is flip flopping all over the place. Last night it showed it leaving China, but now it just shows it's still in China. Very weird. I'm a little concerned about that one.

It's almost funny how different these two units are showing up on the tracking website. So I'm worried one won't show up tomorrow, but I'm thnking it might be possible the other shows up today.

Perhaps it's just that the iPad's remained on the plan during the layover. When my UPS tracking showed it leaving Guangzhou it said it was headed to Louisville, KY. So I'm assuming it's just on the same flight.

You might be right, but 43 is not my flight. They may not scan the layover like you said.

My latest last two steps says:

That would seem UPS21, even though it looks like the arrival was after the scan. USP21 then continued through and left 2 hours ago. So, if I'm in the air, it's probably that one. It lands at 1:10, so maybe tracking will be updated then.

I ask because it seems a lot of people, on here at least, are doing something similar. And while MR is hardly the majority - I wonder what "ripple" effect this has on a) stock b) sales figures being tainted.

Yeah mine shows just the stop over in Korea too as the last scan. It should of hit Anchorage by now. UPS isn't making these easy on our nerves.

I have two ipad's on the way. One showing arrival to the hub near my house and then scanned "out for delivery". The other showing it's still in china.

I called UPS and they insisted the wild differences in the location of the two packages meant nothing. She insisted they would both be delivered tomorrow, even though one says it's currently "out for delivery" this morning.
