Hopefully you are right. But why no scan update at Anchorage?
Probably because they weren't there for too long waiting, and they will just update the tracking system when it reaches Louisville.

I was reading in another thread that Gizmodo says the iPads are already here and waiting at the Sub-stations.

One theory is it was just a stop over.
Looks like a possibility. They arrived in Anchorage at 12:23 am and left at 3:20 am. Maybe just took on some more cargo, refueled and left.

4/1/2010 9:13:00 PM ARRIVAL SCAN ANCHORAGE, AK US
4/2/2010 4:23:00 AM DEPARTURE SCAN CHEK LAP KOK, HK
3/30/2010 6:59:00 AM ORIGIN SCAN SHENZHEN, CN
3/29/2010 1:00:00 AM UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY / UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY LOUISVILLE, KY US
4/2/2010 11:12:00 PM BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED CN
I'm on UPS21 again in route to Louisville, Kentucky right?
It's most likely coming from stock they already had sitting in Louisville, waiting to ship out today.
If this were the case, why would it say:
Scan History:
4/2/2010 8:44:00 PM BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED CN
NOTE: The times listed in the scan details are local time.
Why would the billing information be from China (note the time/date and the "CN")?
My guess would be that all the billing information came from the factory in Shenzhen.
This same thing did happen with the iPhone 3GS. Some people saw no movement until the night before delivery.
Same here -- as it is supposed to be here tomorrow morning, I am a bit puzzled how that will happen given when it left China. I fear I may have gotten hosed.
Hey all!
Who missed me. Seems like some people are making good progress. Here's mine:

I started to suspect that the "enroute to Guangzhou" scans were an error before I went to bed last night, and my last tab open was UPS21 flight track and I was like "well the times ARE close,,, but I need sleep!" haha.

Over the last couple of years, I've had at least 3 or 4 orders for brand new Apple items ship out of China one day, and arrive at my front door the very next day.
You guys worry too much! Search the iPhone and MacBook forums for threads just like this one.... Incessant comparison of tracking numbers, incessant calls to the Apple store to check on status, incessant wringing of hands, incessant whining and worrying. Yet, magically, all of those people survived the experience without any hoses up their derrière.
