I was reading in another thread that Gizmodo says the iPads are already here and waiting at the Sub-stations.

Some may be, but I'm sure UPS isn't manufacturing scans. A lot of people appear to be in the air right now.

Looks like a possibility. They arrived in Anchorage at 12:23 am and left at 3:20 am. Maybe just took on some more cargo, refueled and left.

Or just sat on ground for refuel and crew change/rest.

From what I understand, they just scan a whole plane and it updates all the packages, but that scan might just not be reflected online or some other reason.

It makes sense just because it appears 21 & 43 flight plans go through from China to KY and they're back in the air. It doesn't make sense to unload them and then load other freight to go to the same place. A lot of people will probably get updates in KY this afternoon.

Hopefully you are right. But why no scan update at Anchorage?

Came here to ask this and I see it looks like it may have been answered. I woke up this morning hoping to see an Anchorage scan....

I'd say that's probably what happened as the flight plan to leave at 3:20am was filed late last night almost as if they were saying "Don't bother unloading, lets just keep going".

Same here. Wheres yours headed? Me = Orl fla,

It's most likely coming from stock they already had sitting in Louisville, waiting to ship out today.

If this were the case, why would it say:

Scan History:
4/2/2010 8:44:00 PM BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED CN
NOTE: The times listed in the scan details are local time.

Why would the billing information be from China (note the time/date and the "CN")?

This is fun, comical (at times) and worrisome all at once ! ! ! !!

Like watching santa cross the country and HOPING you were a good little boy.

Still waiting

Just woke up here in Anchorage and was excited thinking that I would see my iPad had come and visited for a few minutes and left to see the rest of the US before coming back to Alaska on Saturday... Guess what??? I'm still in Korea!!! Kim Jong has taken my iPad!!

My guess would be that all the billing information came from the factory in Shenzhen.

This same thing did happen with the iPhone 3GS. Some people saw no movement until the night before delivery.

You have no idea how much I hope you are right :).

Hey all!

Who missed me ;). Seems like some people are making good progress. Here's mine:

haha also looks like Muhr stole some of my job while o was away xD jkjk thanks for helping everyone man. I started to suspect that the "enroute to Guangzhou" scans were an error before I went to bed last night, and my last tab open was UPS21 flight track and I was like "well the times ARE close,,, but I need sleep!" haha.

Same here -- as it is supposed to be here tomorrow morning, I am a bit puzzled how that will happen given when it left China. I fear I may have gotten hosed.

Over the last couple of years, I've had at least 3 or 4 orders for brand new Apple items ship out of China one day, and arrive at my front door the very next day.

You guys worry too much! Search the iPhone and MacBook forums for threads just like this one.... Incessant comparison of tracking numbers, incessant calls to the Apple store to check on status, incessant wringing of hands, incessant whining and worrying. Yet, magically, all of those people survived the experience without any hoses up their derrière.

Hey... what do you know about UPS43? Some of us visited Korea last night and went to Anchorage but never got a scan in Anchorage before the same flight took off again for Louisville. Should we have gotten a scan in Anchorage?

Can anyone tell me what's going on here. I've been told by ups it was air scanned in Korea but they don't have any US scans yet and what the heck is the exception? I don't understand how it cant be in Alaska yet....I'm getting very worried.

Got anything else better to do today while goofing off from work? :)

I am tailgating in my driveway tomorrow while waiting for the UPS man. Chillin on a lawn chair, cooler of beverages to my side, fire up the gas grill and just enjoy the 80 degree weather as I wait for that brown truck to pull up. What can Brown for me? Deliver my iPad!!
