iPad stock

Just got a call from the Apple Store saying the email was sent out in error, to which my response was "So, did you sell it and didn't realize it?", lol. He apologized and said no, to which I said "Well, not like you would tell me." And he promised up and down that wasn't the case...still though, bad form Apple.

Inventory Updates (Massachusetts only)

Apple Stores in Burlington & Hingham MA said they are going to a reservation-only (from what I gathered, people that reserved in-store are getting theirs first, and if there is stock left they will make it available to the general public...which I do not think is a good thing to do, to be honest) [via phone call, 2:20pm]

Best Buy in Braintree & Dorchester have 16GB in stock [via online check, 2:20pm]

Best Buy in Dorchester has the 64GB in stock [via online check, 2:20pm]

I was just at the apple store and best buy in burlington! I had to meet someone at the mall so I figured id check to see if id get lucky. neither had any. so im still waiting on my email! that sucks so bad to get the email in error! I'd flip out! I did play with the ipad in best buy for awhile since it was dead and the whole table was empty. just made me want that email even more! I really want the 32gb or id be going to some of the stores you listed!

I know. :p (we've been over this several times in a different volcano-specific thread with the less than geographically inclined.) Was just trying to get in ahead of people deciding to worry about it here.
 
If anyone is in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest, I can confirm that the BB in Sioux Falls SD has about 20 of each model. I just picked up this 32Gb that I'm typing on an hour or two ago from that store.
 
The Best Buy in Fargo, ND had a bunch in stock (for the first time in a week) when I was there around 11 am today. I could see them behind the customer service desk, it looked like they had 20-30 of each model. If Fargo has that many, then other stores will surely get some soon.
 
I went online and the BB said the store in my area had the 16gb in stock as of 11am, so I went there and was told they still do not have any and "don't trust the website". I don't quite beleive him at all though. Just checked and the site still says they have them in stock.

I did put one on reserve at the Apple Store in my area this past Friday so I'm hoping it comes tomorrow. Anyone know how long this may take?
 
Bought 3 16GBs at Best Buy in Dartmouth, MA today...still looking for 4 32GBs...and no I'm not hoarding for profit, these are for friends and family...
 
I checked at the best buy online and they had them in stock. I went to the store they said they didn't have any but i told them i called and looked and they Had three 16gb ones. I bought one and then canceled by order with apple
 
I was at Best Buy early. There were four 16GB, four 32GB, and six 64GB available, but the salesman told me 1/person.
 
Got mine today. 32gb wi fi. They are starting to show up sporadically. Lovin it so far. Synched with my Itunes library without a hitch. Wifi set up and email no issues.
 
I ordered mine online from apple on 4/11 and ever since thursday night it has said prepared for shipment I don't guess it has actually shipped yet there is no tracking number or anything. I checked the stores here today and none of them had any if they did I was just going to cancel the order with apple and buy one from a store.

again, :apple:delay its global release until the end of May, disappointing:(
 
Posting from my iPad! From the parking lot of the apple store! Lol I'm in my car tethering thru my 3GS with mywi. Just wanted to let you guys know they no longer take cash for ipads. I had to get manager approval to split pay half cash half credit. Only reason it was ok was cause I was still using a card. Looks like their holding strong on the "lifetime limit".

P.s. I picked up my reservation at the Peabody,ma store. Anyone in the area looking for the apple case they are stocked full of it. I picked one up with mine. So come get em!

I got mine too! 64GB @ Best Buy near Fenway. I'm at a doc appt until 4 so I'm just keeping it close to me til I can get it home to play with it...

And now I kinda want a 3G version, lol. I may preorder it and give this on to my mom it uncle.
 
If anyone is in the Jacksonville, FL area, Best Buy on Southside boulevard had 20 ipads in stock this morning - 10 32gb and 10 64gb. I checked their stock online last night and it said they had some in stock. I called the store this morning to confirm that. I swung by and purchased one of the 64gb models, so now they have nine. And I canceled my online order.

What are you using for 3G hotspot, iPhone? I was wondering about this earlier (I'm awaiting the magical 3.1.3 JB).

That sucks. I've had a lot of close calls with my phone but luckily it's all worked out as I haven't had to go get a replacement. Mainly cause I don't want the new boot rom as I Need my phone jailbroken.
