Antutu didn’t register 6GB with me on my iPad Pro. And some other apps didn’t see it either.
I dunno what to expect with this.
Do we have results from this week with both Geekbench 4 and 5? Better with the actual name of the iPhone and not the code.
Even then we still need to see something more official from the released phones. This will be very serious for the resellers if they have mis-advertised.

They put more RAM in 1 model of 1 product (iPad Pro 1TB) which has multi-tasking and would generally be expected to require more.
confirmed all 2019 model iphones only have 2gb ram.... Tim had to recoup the tariff costs somewhere.

Whilst unlikely, competitors have done things like that with significant parts of the hardware. Samsung has run different more high performance CPUs in other geo’s. Apple were running a different sim setup in China. There is precedence but unlikely in this case.

I know the joke was obvious despite jk being added after the quote. It is not outside of the realms of possibility. Put some 11 A13 chips in lower price versions. Again unlikely but not impossible.

It shows 6GB in all applications correctly now. I said when I first received it earlier this year, some applications didn’t show 6GB properly.
If the thing works well, and is likely to work well for several more years, who cares? Even the 2gb phones still work well. Four gb will take us far enough down the road that it won't matter, I'll bet.
