Interesting. It may have 6GB. I just ordered a Totallee thin clear case, and totallee glass full edge coverage screen protector for my pro Max green. Only $42 shipped

I need it by Friday. Gotta check that RAM! I MIGHT DROP IT IF I SEE 6GB.

It took $18 off my order guys use PROMOCODE “UNDERCOVER”

Pretty good deal.
It doesn’t prove anything. It’s another person on the other end stating this. They might be mistaken just like many other Apple salespeople.

Reviewers just dance around the Ram question in videos, as they ignore the line of people asking in the comments too.

3GB really is plenty. I received a brand new 8 Plus 256GB on 9-4-19 and that thing was a beast. The A11/3GB ram runs anything like butter. I really can’t imagine Apple providing a smoother experience than that.

I’ll take better of course, and I look forward to my Pro Max Green for sure.

I only returned the 8 Plus due to being in the 14 day period.

Maybe it’ll have 4GB of ram maybe even 6GB. I’ve already paid for mine, so I’m just dying to get a 100% clear answer on this. Not that it makes a difference. But, I’d feel better with 6GB that’s for sure.

And that does look like something Apple would say, so I think that other Reddit thing is most def fake. Also, I find it hard to believe that Apple would put 6 gigs of RAM into these phones. They’re notorious for holding off forever! I think even next year it’ll be still 4 gigs.

This just showed up on Geekbench today:

https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/14528580

Single-core 5415
Multi-core 11294
iOS 13.1
iPhone12,1 (which would be a 2019 model if legit)
4 GB RAM
6 cores
2.66 GHz
The processor is just called "ARM" but if the true 2019 iPhone SoC, it would be A13.

While that multi-core score doesn't excite, that single-core score would be 12% faster than the fastest single-core score for Apple A12 ever recorded.

EDIT:

This may represent the LCD-endowed "R" version of the 2019 iPhone, so the 4 GB RAM may just apply to that model. It's possible the other models may have more RAM. See posts #8 and #10 for more details.

That multi-core score is much better.

Only 4 GB RAM. Not 6 GB.

Also, Geekbench 5 results also available

We're talking about Level 1 chat agents working as contractors for a company on behalf of Apple. Some people are treating these chat logs as if they were a sworn affidavit from Tim Cook.

For example, your chat agent says:

"RAM is pretty much for multitasking, and you can't have more than one app running at a time on an iPhone"
I'm pretty sure that's off key messaging.

The chats are good for entertainment purposes and I wouldn't rely on them for anything else.

LOL. I guess you've missed the bazillion posts on this.

No, 5G base stations all have more memory.
What do the client devices need though to make use of 5G?

So the Chinese report certificates saying 6GB are fake?
Those have nothing to do with Apple directly. It's been mentioned here that they're just database entries for a Chinese retailer.

There were no such certificates showing the amount of RAM.
OnLeaks was talking about Chinese certification platform info, but it turns out the screengrab he posted was not from any official certification system. Others have said what the screengrab was from a big Chinese e-tailer, sort of like the Chinese version of Amazon. Thus, I chose not to believe it, because it made sense that they were likely just guesses.

Yes, the photo of the device was real. But the screenshot of the "6GB" was from a retailer. It was pretty obvious because it listed the "retail price" as 8699 RMB. TENAA (or the FCC) couldn't care less about the MSRP.

Never had a RAM issue with the XS series at 4gb regardless. Way nicer to see that nearly 4000mAh battery in the Max if true. that's a HUGE HUGE jump from 3174.
