Can’t believe I just walked into a T-Mobile store around noon and had my iPhone 11 in hand without a pre-order. Didn’t feel like waiting for shipping and 💥 product red in the bag.
 
I got mine!! I’m so relieved, I thought for sure that I’d walk up to the desk and they’d say “oh sorry, that email was a mistake, we don’t have your phone in stock”.

the phone is amazing, I can’t believe how great the night mode camera is!! I took this picture in the complete dark today .. incredible. I hope you’ve all had good experiences, and if you haven’t, I hope they fix it ASAP and you get your phones soon!!

Well, I picked it up and a clear case which is very slippery by the way… At the Best Buy. 11 Pro max 256 gig space gray. I still can’t use the damn thing, because the restore by copying over files from one phone to the other just doesn’t work. I tried it about six or seven times and it kept saying I didn’t have enough space on the phone even though I was only transferring about 90 GB.

I had to run an iCloud back up on my phone and then restore from that.

I did we store the phone to iOS 13 beta four which is what my current phone is on. Without incident. Well except for the transfer.

Best Buy had a sim for me but it didn’t work. I just took the old one out of my phone and put it into the new one.

hopefully at some point this weekend I’ll be able to use it :)

The sim has to be activated by going to the carrier website and activating it
 
Extremely disappointed in Best Buy. I preordered on the 17th with a pick up in store for yesterday. Went to the store twice yesterday and was told it wasn’t there (which confused me since I’ve seen on Reddit where people preordered the night before and got the pickup email the following morning.) at 6 pm yesterday I get the email that there’s been a delay in my order. GREAT. so today I called the 888 number and was on the phone (almost entirely on hold) for an hour and fifteen minutes, only to be told that they have no idea when I may get my preordered phone and can’t see anything beyond the website. I could have looked at that. She told me on the website it says they have them on there for pickup for Thursday, which I had already seen. But all day up until yesterday it said mine would be ready for pickup yesterday. So I’m a little flabbergasted. I asked if there was any compensation for this and she said no. Also I can’t cancel my upgrade from Verizon online and will have to call AGAIN to do that. I don’t know what to do at this point.

Went into Best Buy yesterday to try and trade in a device and upgrade to the pro max. After several issues with my carrier I was finally able to get my upgrade status reset. Went to 2 different Best Buy’s where their website indicated they had stock of the phone, only to be told they didn’t. Decided to wake up early this morning to make it to the store to at least trade in my phone and place a order online using the gift card. Saw another bestbuy online said they had 1 in stock so tried my luck for pickup today. Received an email about 2 hours after my order that it was ready!!!! Traded in my X plus received $100 off for paying full price through Sprint. Finally got it activated and ready to use!

We missed the boat on the pre-orders from Apple (didn't decide to upgrade until Sunday, so when we ordered, our delivery window from Apple was 10/7-14). We were going to wait it out and then decided we really needed the better cameras and battery life (old phone is iPhone 8). We were lucky enough to place an order and get same day in-store pickup at a local Best Buy for two 11 Pros (256 SG and 256 Silver). Activation took a while but the reps at BestBuy made sure they were both activated before we left. I was trading in my old phone so I used the Quick Start migration tool in the store...it took forever but seemed to work pretty well. It wasn't so great on our other phone but I think that was because of some work-related items that the IT people at my spouse's work will have to install (an Exchange ActiveSync account/profile and a pager app).

Seemed like the green ones were sold out and they were mostly out of the Pro Max stock, but they did have a few of the 11Pros available for launch day walk-ins. They were moderately busy but there wasn't much of a wait by the time we went in around 2PM. Apps finished downloading overnight last night and so far we are loving the phones! We weren't crazy about the monthly installments as we prefer to pay outright when we upgrade, but it was worth it to avoid the wait.

My order status didn’t change until 24 hours after I put in the order, and about 10 minutes before I walked out of Best Buy (with my phone in hand). With that in mind, spoke with my local Best Buy’s manager the day before launch day. She quite simply told me just to not worry and be there when they open their doors, so I did. I walked in at 10:00 am and a few hours later (I purchased a MacBook Pro) walked out with a new iPhone Midnight Green 512GB.

My concern for you however, is that they DID have your phone but must’ve given it to someone else in the Friday rush (which has happened before). I’m sorry you are going through this...I hope everything is rectified soon.

Ugh, I’m sorry. I wish you the best and hope that you get your phone ASAP. You have every right to be upset. Best Buy dropped the ball on this one...

Thank you, I hope it’s fixed tomorrow. Or I at least get some sort of update. The woman on the phone after an hour and fifteen minutes telling me what I already knew (that I didn’t have a phone and apparently they didn’t have one to give me) was the cherry on top of the cake. “Apple doesn’t have any of them either right now” yeah, but Apple didn’t promise me one on Friday...

My online delivery order has been hung up since I got the shipping delay. Turns out it was an activation issue with att. They said I already had a phone assigned and now it will ship out tomorrow.

Here is a more direct support number for anyone in the same boat. If I didn’t call I’m not sure how long they would’ve just sat on my phone.

Best Buy came through for me. Ordered on Tuesday but didn't see any movement until Friday afternoon. I went to pick up two phones and it took about an hour. What took the most time was activating the phones through AT&T. The Best Buy rep was on hold for awhile.

I'm pretty happy. I was worried Best Buy would screw it up but they didn't. The rep was also very appreciative that I was prepared. I had already backup up my data, turned off Find my iPhone and logged out of itunes. I simply clicked the erase button on the old phones and handed them to the rep and she handed me two new activated phones. Easy peasy.

Ordered 9/13 two hours into preorder and had a delivery date of 9/20. It was shipped to my house not in store pick up. It was delayed but finally delivered yesterday.

The 11 is not rare ATP, the Pros are.
