I got mine!! I’m so relieved, I thought for sure that I’d walk up to the desk and they’d say “oh sorry, that email was a mistake, we don’t have your phone in stock”.
the phone is amazing, I can’t believe how great the night mode camera is!! I took this picture in the complete dark today .. incredible. I hope you’ve all had good experiences, and if you haven’t, I hope they fix it ASAP and you get your phones soon!!
Well, I picked it up and a clear case which is very slippery by the way… At the Best Buy. 11 Pro max 256 gig space gray. I still can’t use the damn thing, because the restore by copying over files from one phone to the other just doesn’t work. I tried it about six or seven times and it kept saying I didn’t have enough space on the phone even though I was only transferring about 90 GB.
I had to run an iCloud back up on my phone and then restore from that.
I did we store the phone to iOS 13 beta four which is what my current phone is on. Without incident. Well except for the transfer.
Best Buy had a sim for me but it didn’t work. I just took the old one out of my phone and put it into the new one.
hopefully at some point this weekend I’ll be able to use it![]()

Extremely disappointed in Best Buy. I preordered on the 17th with a pick up in store for yesterday. Went to the store twice yesterday and was told it wasn’t there (which confused me since I’ve seen on Reddit where people preordered the night before and got the pickup email the following morning.) at 6 pm yesterday I get the email that there’s been a delay in my order. GREAT. so today I called the 888 number and was on the phone (almost entirely on hold) for an hour and fifteen minutes, only to be told that they have no idea when I may get my preordered phone and can’t see anything beyond the website. I could have looked at that. She told me on the website it says they have them on there for pickup for Thursday, which I had already seen. But all day up until yesterday it said mine would be ready for pickup yesterday. So I’m a little flabbergasted. I asked if there was any compensation for this and she said no. Also I can’t cancel my upgrade from Verizon online and will have to call AGAIN to do that. I don’t know what to do at this point.
I went to my Best Buy at around 11 (I was on my lunch break and hadn’t received pickup email or anything, but decided just to check.) and was told that there was another truck out back and it may be on that truck, but they wouldn’t know until later when they unloaded it. Went back after work (around 5) and was told it wasn’t there and maybe around 6 I would get a pickup notification. And 6 is when I got the delay email. So I really have no idea. Maybe that’s what happened. Either way I’m pretty upset, as I wouldn’t have preordered at Best Buy if the pickup date hadn’t been Friday.Did you walk into your local store and ask them?
My order status didn’t change until 24 hours after I put in the order, and about 10 minutes before I walked out of Best Buy (with my phone in hand). With that in mind, spoke with my local Best Buy’s manager the day before launch day. She quite simply told me just to not worry and be there when they open their doors, so I did. I walked in at 10:00 am and a few hours later (I purchased a MacBook Pro) walked out with a new iPhone Midnight Green 512GB.
My concern for you however, is that they DID have your phone but must’ve given it to someone else in the Friday rush (which has happened before). I’m sorry you are going through this...I hope everything is rectified soon.

The 11 is not rare ATP, the Pros are.Can’t believe I just walked into a T-Mobile store around noon and had my iPhone 11 in hand without a pre-order. Didn’t feel like waiting for shipping and 💥 product red in the bag.
