I’ve forever hated the size of my XR compared to my old iPhone 8 , regretted not getting the X at the time..

If the 12 mini being OLED is true , that will be the phone for me.. I’m over these big phones...

1080p minimum OLED
256GB size
Finger ID would be bonus..

XR is only slightly above 720p on 6.1” , so a 5.4” 1080p OLED would still be an upgrade in ppi haha

120HZ. Plain and simple.

I was one of those who wanted 120hz so bad a couple of years back but now that I’ve tried it on different phones I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I got the new Samsung S20 FE, great phone with 120hz and it’s butter but I can live without it

My checklist for the pro was

- 5G
- 120hz
- Improved cameras
- LiDAR

3/4 is pretty good but I'll wait for the 12s next year

I would agree it’s probably not as big of an impact on a smaller screen device compared to a large iPad Pro, but it should still be a flagship feature like most flagship phones in 2020, especially if you’re spending $1000-$1500. What else could justify the cost between a heavily discounted iPhone 11 Pro/Max and a 12 Pro/Max?

100% agree with you. And yes pro motion on an iPad is so much more enjoyable than on a phone but you’re right, for them high prices we need everything
