iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 12 pro max a few months in.. graphite or pacific blue?

Thanks for all the replies so far.. and please keep adding to this thread if you have any opinions on these two colors. Yes, this is a first world “problem”, and I know I’ll be happy no matter what color I go with in the end. I just find it interesting to hear other people’s opinions and it’s a thread where we get to share our opinions without anybody being right or wrong, as it’s all down to personal preferences.
As for my choosing of which phone to keep, I still find it very hard to choose between the two. They both look gorgeous and have their own “personality” (if a phone can have a personality). But with summer coming in a couple of months, and living by the sea, the pacific blue gives me some good “summer vibes” and I think it’ll look great during the summer season. And when the autumn comes, there’ll be a new iPhone that I’ll upgrade to.. so, I may be leaning towards the blue for now. But, dang, that graphite still looks so classy..
Oh well.. I still have a few days to decide what to do.. 😊

I’ve a 12 Pro Max, once I’ve got on my Otterbox case I’ve no idea what colour the phone is.

why would it look outdated? who's to say blue won't be in the line-up for this year? they added blue Apple Watch after all and blue air pods max so clearly adding these colours are something apple wants to add to the line-up
Well, eBay does tell a different story regarding green
PB is the nicest looking color but I like the Apple cases and I feel like it limits my choices more than the graphite or silver. I had a PB Pro and loved it with the Blue Leather case but I'd probably go graphite or even silver if I bought another Pro/Max.
Personally, (and maybe because i am not good at colors/fashion) i prefer the Midnight Green over PB. But among the colors available for 12 Pro, PB is the best and thus i have that. But I still prefer my wife’s Midnight Green over it.
Will be pacific blue for me when I get my 12pm (end of May upgrade) I really liked the blue on my Galaxy S9 and loved the blue on my Mums Xr. Was disappointed they 11 I got didn’t come with a blue option so I got the green. So definitely going pacific blue this time.
I think they both look fantastic. I realize it's all opinion but how someone can think the green was ugly is confounding. Same with the blue, although I'd like it a lot more of the camera module was a little darker. I was going to get the blue but my local Apple Store was sold out and I refuse to buy from anywhere else nowadays. Second choice was graphite and I'm very happy with how it looks in the black leather case. I also got my splash of blue from the wallet attached to the back.
Didn't like midnight green, it was confused if it wanted to be green, grey or black.
Or blue. Last year when someone had the MG 11 Pro max, depending on certain angle and lighting, it really looked somewhat blue.
I get what you say about last generation’s green color. It never appealed to me, and I had no regrets getting the space grey model last year. But this shade of blue looks gorgeous. I wish the blue around the camera lenses would have been a bit darker, but the phone itself looks great. I prefer to use the original Apple MagSafe cases, and so far I prefer the deep navy silicone and the Baltic blue and California poppy with the blue phone. I just ordered a kumquat silicone case today. Excited to see how it fits the blue phone. What cases are you using (if any) on your blue phone? I also think the MagSafe clear case looks good on the blue, but it’s not as comfortable to use as the silicone or leather.
Actually, a color that changes with different angle or lighting is a plus in my book.
I have had my Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max since launch and I am still in love with it as I’ve been the moment I unboxed it. Blue is my favorite color though so that has a lot to do with my choice. Either way, this blue is gorgeous and I would definitely buy it again if I had to do it over again.
Graphite. Timeless. Goes with any case. Understated color. Doesn’t command attention, but still looks good. Ironically, blue is my favorite color, but I like all black everything (or as close to it) when it comes to technology and accessories.
I would get Graphite as I only buy black cases, boring as 🦇 you know what.

Colors like space grey always stay in “fashion” and appeal to most.
These random new colors green blue come and go.they sell more initially because they’re different but soon forgotten.
Even if it doesn’t feature next year doesn’t make the colour dated. If a colour is nice it’s nice.
I’m still waiting on a pink or purple pro max. For now gold will do.
Apple discontinued 11 pro series altogether. eBay sales show that green gets sold quicker.
I got the Pacific Blue 12 PM and think it looks great. Look outdated? Why would anyone think that and if they did, who cares?
I’m not talking about the phone being discontinued,I’m saying they didn’t carry over that green color to 12 series.
people might buy these new colors more for a while because they are new,but they are already outdated anyway because Apple chose a different tone this time.
while space grey,silver,gold are being used every generation and are timeless.
