iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 12 pro max a few months in.. graphite or pacific blue?

You should really share this conclusive “ebay used sale history” evidence with head of Apple design team..cause they clearly must be in the wrong..😉
We are talking about a certain color tone,which is 100% and purely fashion/design related.
Why were they wrong? MG sold like hot cakes…back then and even now. Just like PB has been and will be. This year, they have a new limited edition color. It is smart of them to have special colors for each year. For those, who don’t the new colors, you can buy the traditional colors.
It’s all about personal preference
PB was a nice change from Space Grey. And it happens to be a nice color and goes well with A few different color cases
I’ve seen the PB with Black , Baltic Blue , Plum and Tan leather cases on and they all looked good

It would be a rather bad move by apple to remove this colour this year. They should keep this colour in the line-up with space grey, silver and gold. That said it’s hardly an issue if you want everything to match seeing as they always will have different colour cases anyway.

It was a sarcastic reply to the previous comment saying Green was the best color option of 11 series because your eBay search history showed more used green iPhone 11s are sold.
with 12 series Apple ditched green for a reason.
new colors will be popular just because they are new and different but Apple will only carry on using them if they think they will stay popular,just like Gold (not my favourite) that have become a regular now.
Even rose gold they kept for a couple of years then discontinued.

I’ve had my PB iPhone 12 PM since launch. This is by far my favourite colour iPhone (Blue is my favourite colour). I’ve had space grey iPhones every time I’ve upgraded so it has been a nice change to get a different colour, although the graphite imo does look really good this year compared to prior years space grey colour.
Currently rocking it with the Apple baltic blue leather case.
One thing I will say though is if you do really like the PB colour then go for it! There’s no guarantee that PB will be available on the next iPhone whereas there will almost certainly be a graphite/space grey colour on future iPhones, therefore this might be the only year to get this colour on the most current iPhone.

I went with the Pacific Blue on my 12 Pro Max and put in a Raptic case with the blue bezel. I got my Son the Graphite Black and it looks nice too. I really do not think there is a wrong choice here. I like the blue better, but if it had been out of stock I would have been fine with the black also. My wife got the silver and it was my lest favorite.
Any mobile phone is put away after a few years and forgotten. It seems pointless to have “timeless “ colours for a tool you won’t be using five years down the line.
Besides, most people use cases hence that colour is really negligible.
Exactly. The devices themselves will be looking dated as we connect them to a specific and short period in our lives. That’s at least my experience looking at past devices like older phones and iPods.
I have the blue and I think the graphite is a way nicer color. The blue is very disco.
A color that is used in a certain batch and tome then discontinued will scream dated even before the phone is actually outdated.
if you have a black/grey iPhone it will never have that issue.obviously the device itself becomes dated after around 2-3 years but we are talking about aesthetics here.
Round and round your argument goes…with nothing to back it up with. I like to look at the DEMAND to determine if something is “dated.”
Same here, loving that blue stainless steel frame, one sexy colour, something about that deep navy blue on the 12 though. 😋

Loving the pacific blue and baltic blue leather case pairing, occasionally switch to my deep navy silicone case to mix it up a bit.
Neither will look outdated as they are still popular now. The green is still current as many of these iPhones are still widely used. Not really sure what you are trying to say to be honest? Do people really worry about the colour of their iPhone to that degree? I don’t think so.
They better keep the PB around but if not oh well will just buy the navy silcone case again. It stays in this case 95% of the time anyway
For some people the silicone cases wear away with use and the colours occasionally don’t stick around. If you wanna be on the safe side, maybe consider getting a spare.
Never really had an issues with that happening but I won’t be the norm as I upgrade my phone every year. Could see it happening for those who keep phones longer
Knowing apple it'll be gone next year, way ahead of you, got a baltic blue leather case and deep navy silicone case for my 12 pro max. 🤦♂️😂
Only issue I had with apple silicone cases was last year, after a year and a half one of the bottom corners started peeling on my XS Max silicone case, should've kept my receipt, would of got a free exchange from apple. I'll be keeping my receipts for my 12 pro max cases. 😂
