Upgrade from XS Max. I am keep my PM Pacific Blue. It is an incredible phone. I had the yellow display tint but was able to fix though the color filters in accessibility and now the display is more crisp then my XS Max.

Already turned in my 11 Pro Max. This 12 Pro Max is a keeper for me
I decided to keep my 11 Pro Max and return the iPhone 12 Max. The size was too much for me which felt uncomfortable and I didn’t really think it was much of an upgrade after a few days comparing. Maybe next year.

Well, I have decided to return my iPhone 12 Pro Max instead of replacing it. I had a dead pixel, so I had to send it back, and instead of waiting for a replacement to arrive, I have decided to try out the mini, and I'm in love with this phone.

Having used iPhone 12 Pro for about a week, 12 Pro Max for 5 day, and mini for a couple of days, I can say with confidence that the mini has almost identical camera (the main decisive factor for me to go with Max at the the first place), with only one a big downside being the battery life. I wouldn't say that it's bad on the mini, but the 12 Pro Max battery life is just so much better.

In any case, I have 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which I plan to use more for tasks, which require bigger screen, and mini will serve me as a 'boring phone'. Both mini and Max are amazing, so no matter what you get at the end, I am sure you will be happy.

I upgraded from an 11 Pro Max. I really love the squared sides and beast of a camera. I’m keeping mine! I’m also happy Apple finally made 128gb the base for the Pro series. My Xs Max & 11 Pro Max were 256gb and I only ever used about 60gbs.

Sadly, I will be returning my Max Pacific Blue. Love the color and the finish of the phone. But it is noticabley heaver then my XS Max 20g more and the square design definatley makes it feel chunky in my hand and akward.

The camera is a beast but makes the phone very top heavy. The Camera Hump is comically huge. The yellow tint on the screen is very noticable when comparing side by side.

I dunno feel like the XS Max is built like a Porsche and the 12 Max is a Sporty Range Rover. I really wanted to love this phone. It is so personal but for me the XS Max just feels so good in the hand.
So... get a 12 pro! 😂

PRoS: extra space which will quickly get used up by HDR recording
Better Camera
Good Battery life
HDR recording
PIP

Cons: old iPhone 5 design
Yellow tinted screen
5G is almost useless for most

keeping for now have till Jan 8 to decide but honestly it’s an improvement

Went from an iPhone 7 to the 12 pro but after a week upgraded to the pro max as got used to the size of the screen on the 12 pro and didn’t think it was that much bigger than my 7 😂

On getting the pro max I was initially hesitant due to the weight of the thing but a few days down the line and I don’t even notice it so probably just needed time to adjust to it...a keeper for me especially because of the screen and that amazing battery (I kept having to recharge my 12 pro daily).

Love my 12 Max. I'm still getting used to the size, coming from an X. Just got my Apple MagSafe clear case for it. As soon as I installed it, there was an animation on the screen and even though it is probably just in my mind but the colors on the screen seem more brighter and colorful than before.

The "old iPhone 5" design is my favorite iPhone design so far.

I got the 12 Pro Max for the camera improvements, but actually love the large display and flat sides. No regret at all, it is my favourite iPhone ever!

For a yellow tint to screen, I initially had that with the X and adjusted colour balance using Accessibility, display, colour filter and those adjustments through backups have carried through to the new 12 Pro Max so it looks great. I note if I turn those off it does look yellow tinged just like the X. So anyone having that problem just adjust so screen is colour balanced as you wish.

Is this your exact color filter setting? Looks a little too much on the blue side to me..

Same and for the same reasons. Returning my 12PM and returning to my XS Max.
Primary reasons: don’t prefer the extra weight, don’t like the squared edges, hate the camera bump, the only noticeable upgrade for me is the camera (battery is insignificant to me and the speed gains haven’t been noticeable).

Beautiful phone! Keeping mine! With my 11 PM, I barely got 1 bar of service in my office (center of 4 story building with no windows). Now I get 2 bars of 5G which is significantly better! Just watched a 15 minute YouTube video with no buffering.

I am still up in the air if I will keep mine. Since the X series launched I have had the X, XS Max, 11 Pro and now the 12 Pro Max. So I usually flip from small to large screen every other year. But this year the 12's 6.1 screen maybe the sweet spot? I am not a big camera person, so the only reason to keep the 12 Pro Max would be the larger screen/battery. Still gonna chew on it some more...
