It’s going to be U-G-LY on the 6th for that Pacific Blue! I’m ready though! 😂

Just wanted a thread for Pro Max users. I have been using an 11 Pro for the past year and miss the screen size. I did enjoy the portability of the 11 Pro but while I am aware that while the 12 Pro Max will take up more real estate, I believe it will be worth it. I am slightly concerned about the size because I usually carry it in my pocket. Looking to get the silicone case as well. Maybe get something thinner as time goes on. Anyone else going back to the larger size? Anyone want to speak to the trade-offs of "pocketability" vs screen real estate?
⬆️ Exactly this! Plus I have a 3 and 5 year old that watch movies on car rides that I have mounted to my dash. Any bit of extra real estate is a plus! And really, it’s not much bigger then the 11 pro max I’ve been using and Plus/Max sizes all along. Damn 11/6 can not get here soon enough!!I've always had the Plus/Max sized phones, and this year will be no different. I'm eagerly awaiting pre-order day for my Pro Max.

DittoI bought the 12 pro to try it, coming from a 11 pro max, I liked it, but I miss the battery and screen real estate so definitely excited to order 12 pro max!
Exactly. Time to go big again. I don’t use an iPad. So for me this is the “do it all device”. I have tried many times to get into the iPad world but for my purposes it is unnecessary. A larger phone fits both needs. I am willing to sacrifice a bit of weight to only have one device. Can't wait to return to the Max. Had the 6s Plus, the 8 Plus, the Xs Max and now the 11 Pro, which is nice and handy, but that's about it. I hate typing on the small keyboard, especially in apps that don't allow for the horizontal keyboard.
Will probably get the 256 in Gold.
I upgrade phones every year but this year It’s a tough decision for me. I love the battery in my iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m very concerned with losing an hour plus of battery life. I’m sure I’ll end up purchasing the new phone but this is the first time I’m debating upgrading.
I am torn. I have enjoyed the larger screen real estate since the plus option became available with the 6 series. I chose the 8 Plus over the X due to the screen ratio of the X compared to the 8 Plus. Then, I found I couldn't use the XS Max or 11 Pro Max due to PWM eye strain (entirely different story). So, I was 8 Plus until 2 months ago when I finally moved to the regular 11.
Now that I am used to the smaller size and weight of the 11, I am torn on moving to the 12 Pro Max (if my eyes can tolerate it). I don't bother with tablets, and I rarely ever dust off my MacBook, so having the largest screen is nice since I use my phone for 99% of my needs. Also, the Pro Max will have the best camera available as far as iPhones go and that is very important to me. I am very tall, so putting the Max in my pockets is not an issue nor is using it one handed. Where I think the size will be a compromise are a) phone won't fit in my cupholders b) will really weigh down my gym shorts when I am out doing yard work c) same issue when I go for walks with the dog or just exercise in general.
The only thing I do know is that I have zero interest in the mini, the regular 12, or 12 Pro. If I make a move from my 11, it would be to the Max and I would just get used to having a larger, heavier phone again.
This was my challenge. Ended choosing graphite because currently have silver. Can’t go wrong with either. I honestly love how the silver contrasted better with cases with the white around camera. Was on the fence with the 12P and the 12PM, but coming from the X I figure the 12PM will give me a nice change of screen real estate. My only decision now is which color Silver or Graphite.
Same here. I've always used Max size phones, but last year I went for an 11 Pro. I loved how easy it was to carry in my pant pockets during the summer months. But that advantage was definitely overshadowed by all the times I played games, watched movies/series or did any extensive reading or editing of documents...I'd just feel that I was missing out. I have an iPad Pro 12" and I kinda figured I'd be using that more at home, and the 11 Pro on the go. But it's just so much more comfortable a lot of the time to just use the phone, even at home. So, back to a Max it is!Just wanted a thread for Pro Max users. I have been using an 11 Pro for the past year and miss the screen size.
