Just wanted a thread for Pro Max users. I have been using an 11 Pro for the past year and miss the screen size. I did enjoy the portability of the 11 Pro but while I am aware that while the 12 Pro Max will take up more real estate, I believe it will be worth it. I am slightly concerned about the size because I usually carry it in my pocket. Looking to get the silicone case as well. Maybe get something thinner as time goes on. Anyone else going back to the larger size? Anyone want to speak to the trade-offs of "pocketability" vs screen real estate?
I'm coming from 256gb Xs Max, I think it's time to upgrade to the 12 Pro Max. For me, I enjoy having the bigger screen, and is used to it. Getting the 256gb Graphite... The blue one look nice... but I know I'll get tired of it... but can't go with the common colors black/white.

Another contender for the Pacific Blue 256 GB Pro Max here. I spotted the 6.1” 12 Pro in Pacific Blue this past weekend at an Apple Store and that was it, decision made. It looks amazing.

I’ve been hanging onto this launch-day 6s Plus for five years and I’m done. Come Nov. 6th, it’s on. If for some reason they run out of blue I’ll settle for graphite (it looks sharp too). Won’t go below 256.

I was tempted with the green last year and now the blue. I just know myself that given a few weeks or months I would grow tired of it. That is why I always stick with the basics. Owning every iPhone since the beginning I think I am understanding my craziness.....haha.

I was gonna go Gold for my max but I changed to Silver after seeing them at the apple store.

TBH you can't go wrong with any Pro color. All colors are simply stunning.
That is another color that if I were ever to go Gold it would be this years. I think it is the nicest it has ever been.

This article highlights some nice extra features the max will have (Towards the bottom) The stabilization and larger sensor will probably be the biggest noticeable everyday difference (and of course battery).

I bought the green last year, took one look at it in person and HATED it, and went through the headache of exchanging it, which is a little bit of a pain on the iUP. Feels a little ridiculous since I ended up with a case on it all the time anyway and I never even see the color. This year I'm considering going case-less now that we're back to flat edges that will hopefully enable me to pick the damn thing up off a flat surface without a case. And I've been wishing for a blue phone FOREVER.

My XS Max 256GB cost me £1,249. I needed >64GB, so this was only cheapest option
My 12 Pro Max 128GB will cost me £1,099

XS Max = 158x77x7.7mm and 208g
12 Pro Max = 161x78x7.4mm and 226g

So I'm gonna be better off financially (in my head anyway!), and the dimensions are roughly identical, though 10% heavier

Thinking I'll go with Graphite, though I always go for blue stuff so maybe Pacific Blue will attract me in the next 8 days ;)

I can't wait! :)

I have to agree with this. All of the color options this year look great. It’s Pacific Blue for me because it falls right in the spectrum of my favorite shades of blue. I won’t grow tired of it.

Graphite is sexy and the Gold is classy. I have Silver now so I want to switch up, but it has always been a favorite of mine.

Going for Graphite as I usually put an Apple Leather Case on it.
I will order the leather and silicone cases. I am usually a silicone case person because I was never happy with the leather fit on the round edges so I stayed away. Now that they are squared I will have to give it a try again. The iPhone 5 leather cases are still to this day my favorite of all time.

The poll has evened out quite a bit with more colors and storage options as more people have responded...I have hope!!!
It has.........I am surprised how many will go for the 128 option. Always thought the 256 was the sweet spot.

I don’t store anything on my phone media-wise. 128 GB is way too much for me haha. Maybe I’m an outlier.

Do you get a new phone every year? Do you restore from previous backup, or new?

Aim for a new iPhone every 3 years. I always restore from backup. Only do new if I have serious software issues.

Same. For some reason this year may start fresh. On another note I wonder how much weight could be saved from moving toward aluminum instead of steel?

I'm thinking Pacific Blue 128GB at this stage, pending an up close and in person viewing of the colour at my local Apple Store. Otherwise it'd be a toss up between white/graphite.

I saw them all the other day. Honestly can’t go wrong with any of them.

Y’all stay away from the Gold 128. It’s a lousy color, you wouldn’t like it........until I get mine first, haha

Actually just shipped 12 Pro Gold back. Coming from 11PM, I thought 6.1” would be a sweet spot for me. I was wrong. I’m a 2 hander for texting and things.
i upgrade every year. But hey, I’ll make a sweet deal on the clear MagSafe case and another clear case and 2 screen protectors for 12Pro. Haha

I was hoping we would see a MAX leak like the mini so we can get a real-world experience before pre-order.

If only, that would be awesome. Only then, I’d really start going even more batty because I wouldn’t get the phone until 11/13🤪.

Graphite 128GB. I am nervous about my eyes not being able to handle the PWM though (not to make this thread about that). I've used OLED phones in the past but this will be my first OLED iPhone.

Was it past the allotted time to return the Apple MagSafe case?
