Maybe next week.
Maybe the week after.
Maybe the week after that.
Maybe the week after THAT.

The last time event invite was sent out on August 29th. It looks like press release invites for this year will be next week possibly on Tuesday or Wednesday.

It’s going to be virtual this year though isn’t it? I heard they might do an online presentation due to COVID.

If there's no interactive component to the event, I don't expect any invitations until mid-September at the earliest. If the launch is just a video, then a two week notice is plenty.

Apple could be preparing a mini hands-on area (for one group at a time) outside the theater, but that's a slim chance given gatherings are strongly discouraged. In that case, Apple may need to let the media know sooner. But again, that's unlikely given the situation in the U.S.

The next major communications from Apple is likely related to Watch, iPad, and maybe Mac.

There is Nooooooooo way they will be a iPhone and Watch event separately lOL.

It will all get announced at one event, and maybe the pre-orders and shipping will get delayed thats all

No event for the Apple Watch, according to Jon Prosser it's being released via a press release in September.

Even though it's being released via a press release, I'm pretty sure apple will mention it during its iPhone event.

I have a feeling there's going to be an event which is in September. They will announce iPhones, Apple Watch and iPads, and other little stuff such as Air tags.

We should be able to order Apple watch and new iPads. In the month of September.
iPhones will be released in the month of October.

They will have a separate event for macs.

Apple Watch is a big market product. How can they announce that without having an event???

You’d be surprised how few people watch or know about these events in the grand scheme of things. Nearly everyone I know owns an iPhone or uses Apple products, but I know only one or two who watch the launch events. My wife thinks I’m sad when I watch the stream. Most of the awareness comes from tv ads and articles.

Hope you’re right, going with what Prosser said about the watch getting a press release around September 7th, as much as he carries on like a kid lol, his product release track record has been spot on recently.

Didn’t he say apple will be having the event during October?

I feel like it will be next week.

They don't need to give any one to much of a heads up notice since it will be a stream only event.

Being predictable isn’t what Apple wants. For the first time in over three years, it’s been one year we haven’t had that many substantial leaks that have been divulged through code (Like the HomePod code for example), aside from some physical hardware docs and CADs, I’m expecting some type of ‘surprise element‘ that hasn’t been exposed yet.
