Nope. I went over the entire perimeter of both phones with a jeweler’s loupe. No gap.

"But it's not perfect". You can see it when you shine a light of a thousand suns at it and take a picture and blow it up 10 times. How anyone can accept such "garbage" is beyond me. /s
Talk about hyperbole ?

but but but … give ‘‘em a chance to have a gapped phone versus a properly aligned one, wonder what they would choose??????

with my new phone you have to REALLY struggle to see the metal component, and I mean really struggle at the perfect angle.. and then it’s an extremely slight view. Im not losing sleep over it…. It’s a hell of a lot better than what I had!!

Did exactly the same with a Jeweller's Loupe. No gap. Some people on here can't quite grasp the fact that the vast majority of iPhones out there are spot on i.e. no gap, no pink tint, no raised blacks, no green tint, uniform screen, no software problems etc. According to some, all iPhones have these problems. I would call it trolling.

It’s not trolling. The phones all have a little gap. Not all can see the metal. The speaker isn’t flush to the bezel on any phone. It has to have room for temperature changes and etc.

There is no gap because it is sealed, the same as the rest of the screen.

Got my first replacement 13 pro today, no gap:)

I took the quality lottery and came out lucky I guess. Happy to say i’m now content with my phone
What did you replace it through? Express replacement? I received my express replacement and there’s a gap so I’m contemplating another replacement.

Maybe off topic but how are you guys getting new phones by placing orders? When I try to do that I'm being told it will deliver sometime in mid-November.

I lucked out!! I wasn’t expecting them to have inventory at the store …

I was able to replace a 1TB SB PM
with a 512GB SB PM … I really didn’t need 1TB, so it worked out with me saving $200 and a more aesthetically appealing phone.
Also, I went thru 5 hours of hell in the apple store trying to get new phone activated!!

So I will be holding onto this one!

Not to rain on your parade, but you are certainly wrong saying a “vast majority” don’t have any gap. I work by 2 apple stores, and almost EVERY single phone on display has the gap. Like others have mentioned, there are just variances on how big the gap is where you may barely notice it unless you have the correct lighting. Some people have a really good eye for this stuff(like me, and it’s actually like a curse because almost no mass produced product is perfect. But with that said, I’m confident if I have my phone to every person I know, they wouldn’t be able to spot the very small gap.

Stores are getting minimal stock. You have to constantly be refreshing the app or website for the pick up option. I have gotten 3 since returning my launch day phone for screen issues. Once it shows stock, they don’t last more than a minute in my area so you have to be quick. Otherwise, shipping is in November. If you are past your initial 14 days you have to go the white box express replacement route which I would never do as you don’t have a matching retail box to your phone.

You check in the morning on the Apple app or some other app?
