Pro model with LCD as Apple seem incapable of releasing an OLED iPhone without headache-inducing PWM.

Or what about an OLED display that doesn’t use PWM?

No PWM
Touch ID
I’m surprised how many times this has been mentioned. My assumption is more users are affected than Apple realizes.

As far as TouchID is concerned, the power button is just about large enough to fit the sensor on iPad Air. The problem is that would add cost, and margins are already tight on iPhone 12.

(I know it’s frowned upon but it looks cleaner IMO to use multiple posts for quotes.)

There isn't really anything I want added or changed from my 12 Pro Max to be honest. I can't see myself upgrading again for a while unless I break it. Maybe USB-C replacing Lightning.

Thinner bezels, smaller notch, LTPO 120hz display, AOD, Notifications, Icon grid based on display size, Hide App Library, Hide Widget page, USB C connector.
A lot of these are iOS features and not iPhone ones.

A single housing for the camera lens array and materials that don’t leave fingerprints anywhere on the phone chassis.

6.2" - 6.4" regular model

Smaller notch or touch ID on power button

Less yellow screens

In display fingerprint reader combined with Face ID
Smaller Notch
USB-C

And most important of all
ALWAYS ON DISPLAY

Yes i know it's a software feature, but knowing Apple they are gonna restrict stuff like this to new phones if it ever arrives.

Landscape Face ID would be awesome but if we are getting in display Touch ID it wouldn’t matter I guess

Even brighter screen, less weight maybe titanium as well as steel. Promotion. This phone is fab so far. Better iteration than the 11pro

Considering the amount of complaints about tarnishing and scratches on the current stainless models, I think titanium would be a nightmare. The Stainless they use now also costs roughly the same as the aluminium despite the premium placed on it whereas titanium is considerably more expensive. You’d end up with a £2k iPhone if Apple use it lol.

well they will restrict always on display if it comes as it requires LTPO (in apple's eyes for battery life reasons)

Reduced notch, better battery life, more ram in the 13. For the pro, the addition of always on display and 120HZ. mmWave antenna for us outside of the US would be nice. Improved magsafe perhaps? Especially if the 13 pro goes portless. I feel they should stop artificially holding back the non pro displays brightness and bring it up to 800 nits maximum in normal conditions. Can't imagine us getting much more than this in an "S" year.

All I want for Christmas is... I just want a Mini Pro - better camera (more specifically a telephoto lens), a bigger battery (I don’t mind the phone being a bit thicker), more RAM (always useful), and a reduced notch (if possible). I want a phone that is as high end as possible, while keeping the physical size of the 12 mini. I do not want an SE. I want as few compromises made as possible, in a small form factor, and I’m willing to pay for it.

I kind of doubt Apple will release a new iPhone mini this year, but if they do, and the upgrade is significant enough for me, I’ll buy it. If not, I can see myself holding on to the 12 mini for a few years.

Honestly.... a thermometer/hygrometer for room conditions. At home I am looking at mine (an Acu-Rite) constantly to keep my living room comfortable. I'm aware the heat from the phone might warm up the reading, but they could figure out how to compensate to display an accurate reading.

Every time the add some kind of sensor, developers find a creative, new use for it. FLIR is interesting, but is crazy expensive at the present time for the add-on ($229 on sale, lol).

The DAC for 3.5mm input is in the headphone adapter itself, and it’s been measured as being virtually transparent and technically flawless.

The £/$9 headphone adaptor is an utter piece of junk when used with decent earphones/headphones. The actual DAC chip is supposed to be the same cirrus logic one that was in the Iphone 6s, but its amp is virtually non existent due to lack of space.

nothing what more could you want that you have with the iPhone 12 models that you want you the iPhone 12s or iPhone 13?

and yes am a iPhone 12 pro max user my self lol

periscope zoom lens up to 10 x optical zoom
Pencil support
Split screen apps
Finger print sensor
Always on display
Dex like feature

Couple of these are just ios related but...

USB-C
AOD (Always on display)
No notch 'or' Small tiny notch
Ability to have separate volumes for Ringer, Notifications, Media, Alarm
120Hz display
Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner

So basically catch up to the technology that premium flagship android phones have been providing for years now. 😀
