This morning I have made the test of using my iPhone 14 Pro normally
3h = 50% battery
On the other side an iPhone 13 with approximately same use but with very few apps.
1h30 = 12 battery
No strange app in the battery section in settings. So the root cause seems to be hidden ?!
Gmail sync ? (Turned on manual…)
An app with dirty integration and not visible ?
Apple Watch ??
Don’t know. I think I will erase all and install only essentials apps and see day after day by installing 1 more !
Same here, stop the iOS16 bs talkI have same OS on both iPhone ! And I have iOS 16.1 RC on both iPhone.

But the iPhone 13 sas suffering of the same issue when it was my device (with all my apps). And now with only my iCloud account and very few apps and no personalized settings it seems to be ok….The 2 devices have different CPU/GPU, different modem, so iOS 16 is the main issue because it hasn’t been “finalised” for the 14 Pro models.
Stop the bs talk.
Puzzling, how? iPhone batteries are rated to retain 80% health after 500 cycles, or about two years. So if you are at 91% after one year, then you are exactly as expected.I had my iPhone 14 Promax for a year. It's at 91% BH. I have all apple batteries and charge accessories. Puzzling
I experienced fast battery draining on 14 pro max despite efforts to minimize it. Then, battery health declined about 6% after about 1 year right after got 15 pro max on the launch day.I have been using the iPhone 14 pro today and my battery is horrible. Screen time is just over 3 hours and my battery is at 8%. I’m a heavy user, came from a 13 pro max and I don’t understand why this phone is doing this. The only thing i did today was play Pokémon go for 2 and a half hours which is my daily average and my old phone would be around 40% right now. I shut off the AOD too and all the settings are the same as my old phone. Do I have a bad battery? Anyone with an iPhone 14 pro or even a 13 pro, is the battery for this device really this bad? Do I need to go back to the max?
