I decided not to use magsafe and have been charging wired on a low watt charger... since I charge overnight and don't really need fast charging. I guess that experiment bought me an extra 45 cycles lol.
Question for you ... just this week I upgraded to an iPhone 15 (from an iPhone SE 2020). When I spoke with an Apple Support rep, I asked about using the original 5W charger from that other phone. They recommended only using the Apple 20W charger because supposedly lower watt chargers can cause batteries to get hotter than normal (I purchased a 20 watt charger so already have it).

I also have a 20W fast charger (multi port fast charger) so am wondering what is really the best wattage to use when charging. Sometimes I connect it to my Mac but want to implement recommended charging since it's new.

15 Pro. Had it since July from a carrier deal that I couldn’t refuse.

Iphone 15 Plus, had for one year and was still at 100% battery health in September. Since upgrading to iOS 18.x I have already dropped to 97% in the last six weeks. I guess I should have stayed on iOS 17.x.
It’s totally unrelated. Your actual percentage number can lag behind you mAh measurement. Your analytics under the Privacy menu lists your current mAh capacity as well as your starting capacity when it was new.

what about 80% after 1000 cycles which was promised by apple? it's more like 80% after 500 cycles. Im really disapointed
