Dropped another 1% today on my 15 Pro Max. Now at 89% battery health with 265 cycles.
Do you use a lot of wireless charging? I’d be interested in hearing more about what your charging regime looks like.

Mix of wireless and wired using 20W charger. Usually charge at around 20% to sometimes around 80% and sometimes to even 100%.

Ending a year of ownership with 96% capacity. Quite pleased so far. Might skip the 17 series, we'll see. 15 PM

You guys obsessing over battery health stats, and doing optimized charging rituals like limiting it to 80% with certain chargers are insane. I never look at any of my health specs, and I always charge it up to 100%. Whenever I actually NOTICE a loss in my day-to-day battery life…I just buy a new battery and carry-on with my day. I have no idea what my old cycle count is was.

Now all of you have been worrying and nursing your phones everyday like newborn babies, and look. I’m still ahead of all of you.

Good point though!

I’m actually trying to see how many cycle counts I can reach by September 2025, and what battery capacity my iPhone will reach. I want to see if I’ll get a battery replacement at that time. I run the battery into the ground until it dies and charge it back to 100%.

Today, the first drop – at 99% with 200 cycles (iPhone 15 PM).

When I see some of the significant battery degradation here with relatively few cycles, I'm curious to see if there will be an official 'Battery Gate,' as Apple promises 80% battery health after 1,000 cycles starting with the iPhone 15.

Same here, 99% after 212 cycles - 15 PM manufacture date November 2023 and first use January 2024. Then again there are many variables in play here between different users.
